The food is good. The only problem is that the portions are away too small. I got a Mexican breakfast burrito and a Mexican regular burrito. I had both of them in one sitting. The portions are any too small, even for my 115 13 year old son. I mean, I know the economy is hard, but come on, guys. Either lower the prices or make the burrito bigger.

Me and my coworkers absolutely LOVE this place! Such amazing food - great quality and quantity! I always get their burgers which are so delicious, but I've heard amazing things about their tacos as well! There is only 2 or 3 chairs inside, but they have a patio, so I recommend going on a nice day so you can enjoy the food on the patio for more space. Definitely recommend John's Backyard Grill!

The food was authentic and delicious. Customer service was excellent as well. I love how you can get gas and tacos in one stop. I will definitely be back.

An outstanding taco. The portions were more than expected, the chicken, steak were perfectly seasoned and toppings were fresh. The sauces rule! The red sauce is hot but a good slow burn. My favorite. I’ll be back.

Hole in the wall spot inside a Chevron but totally worth trying. Authentic Mexican bites like Tortas, Burritos, street vendor style tacos and more. Super affordable and cooked on the spot quickly. Delicious flavors, home made verde/rojo sauces that add the right kick to whatever youre eating. I would not underestimate what you will experience. Give it a shot - will not regret and highly recommended!!

One of the best kept secrets in North Dallas. Tucked away inside the Chevron station is a little Mexican grill. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable.
The chicken burrito had plenty of chicken and the tacos are exactly right.
