Total dive place and I loved it. I mean, what’s not to love in a business this run down that puts out some of the tastiest food for such a low price? The #5 Special burger and onion rings were both perfectly cooked, and sent me on down the road happy. I made the detour in my trip plans to try this place and it did not disappoint.
I recently visited this hamburger shack on a trip to the Dallas area. It was a drive-in spot with a rustic, old-school feel.
The service was quick and the food was as expected. The burger was simple but still tasted good. The fries and tater tots were average. The price of everything was cheap enough to give this a try instead of the other fast food chains.
Go for nostalgia, not necessarily the quality of food.
Old school place, one of the best lil burger joints around, you can’t go wrong and man does it hit the spot!!! Cheeseburger was on point, and me personally loves the poppyseed bun, fries were made perfectly! You pull-up under the carport and someone comes to your vehicle and takes your order. Food temp was perfect once it came. The wait time wasn’t too long pretty much normal. The carhop was super friendly and great service. Id totally recommend this burger joint over again.
Always wanted to try this place and so glad I finally did this summer! The food is unique and great and the prices are very affordable!! Our waitress was also very sweet and helpful. I’m very glad a place like this is still around, definitely feels like your taking a step back in time, I love it! I recommend this spot to all in the area.
Tasty burgers (especially for "fast food"). The onions rings were awesome, tots were good and fries were ok. Great burger for the price, partly what they are known for. Didn't care much for the overall experience though and not impressed with the service.
Maybe it was a little too hyped up, but still good nonetheless! I will come back again next time I'm around, but not overly impressed.
Cash only, they had no menu at the time of my visit.
I love this local burger spot. Service is hit or miss sometimes but not a dealbreaker. Nice if you want some quality burgers on the go or to eat in your car.
As no frills as they come, all business here. Cash Only, so come prepared. Nice set up, have car ports set up to park under and the waitstaff will come serve you. My service was great and fast. Got the #5 double cheeseburger. Was tasty, an above average experience. The seeded bun was a nice touch. The fries were not my style, I’ll get the tots next time. If you’re looking for a quick tasty burger, this is your spot. Come out and support your local businesses.
I’ll admit I had my doubts when I first pulled in but this place turned out to be so good. The service was quick and friendly and the price wasn’t to bad either. The burgers tasted so good and the coke was crisp.
DEFINITELY A MUST TRY IF YOU'VE NEVER HAD. THE BURGER WAS A1! BACON WAS THICK SLICED AND SMOKEY!! KC WAS AN AWESOME EMPLOYEE! SHE WAS SUPER HELPFUL AND LIKE SHE SAID, "ONCE YOU HAVE A KELLER BURGER, YOU WON'T WANT ANOTHER!" AND SHE'S RIGHT, I WANT ANOTHER. WE'LL BE BACK. THANK YOU!
One of the best burgers in Dallas. I’ve had some bad service before but for the most part the people there are nice .
