i came in late night. looking for authentic TexMex, something local non touristy. This was my first stop, i hadn’t eaten much all day, my hunger level id say was 7.4 out of 10. IF you want a hole in the wall simple, good tasting meal ( at least what i ordered, 50/50 chicken /beef fajitas and cup if tortilla soup), this place hits the spot. This is not Madison avenue in NY, writing about the service, as long as it’s good enough and no one is being rude, makes no sense to provide an opinion on. Nothing was bad, everything i ate was satisfying and i don’t regret it. Margarita rocks i could of skipped. chips salsa was fine, again gage the place to set real expectations.
Really good food and service. They have a special house salsa which is green in color. This was served warm, one of the best I've had, it has a kick to it. The fajitas were very tender and delicious, with all the fixings which complimented it well. Great find will be returning again.
Great service, good quality food
My daughters have been aware of this restaurant for several years, but never thought to visit until my eldest moved about a mile closer on Cinco de Mayo (!), and we took her for dinner here to celebrate. We all loved it, and we've all been back several times. My most memorable meal is the tamale dinner, which has plenty of firm masa and very tasty chili con carne. It comes with two tamales, but I had already eaten one before I took the picture.
My family usually gets one of the many types of enchilada dinners, and they clean their plates, so I suspect the rest of the menu is equally good.
I don't drink, but my wife liked their margheritas as well.
It is worth mentioning that the salsa is tasty, but pretty spicy, at least to me. Don't try it until your drink order comes!
Nice service and decent food. They didn’t have their Sunday margarita special anymore though. Went expecting a certain price after checking their website. Anyway, not a bad spot.
Went out for lunch with our kiddos. The atmosphere was family friends not loud. We could talk and not yell and still have a conversation. Food was served fast fresh and hot. Staff very professional and attentive. Everything was very good we will be back on our next trip back
Both my girl and myself were very pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food and service was. We like trying different spots and this one did not disappointment. The salsa was house made and was incredible... we shared the 50/50 fajitas that we both highly recommend. We found our new favorite Tex-Mex restaurant 💯
Home-style cooking for Saturday breakfast.
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for months. I finally took the time to stop by on a Saturday and I am soo glad that I did! My server was the owner and the food was served hot. The strawberries on my pancakes were fresh. I ordered two meals; the price was reasonable and could be split by 2 people. This location serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will go back to try the later-in-the day menus.
The food was excellent, the owner/Manager took our order and was really kind and accommodating, the house margarita was pretty strong but needed more garnish I think, had to ask for salt!😅
It wasn't crowded and really enjoyed a quiet, but delicious dinner with my wife and my mom. Portions were great and the spicy fajitas were awesome!!
Nothing left to say other than 3 words... damn good food! I was invited by a friend who lives off Frankford to stop by for a drink and we decided to eat as well. We ate sooo much due to the generous portions and inability to stop; we couldn’t leave for waiting on the food to settle. Stuffed! My nephew literally laid down in the booth with his head in my lap ready to nap. Lol Definitely will visit again. Fresh. Hot. Flavorful. Delicious.
