Recommended by my niece on FB. Visited Sat 8/26/23. Head's up, this is an All Cash place and worth it! Smiling attentive waitress, great food and salsas. "Friendly fellowship does at the table," said best by my new found friends that even paid for my meal. Can't wait to return!
I've eaten here since I was a little girl in the 70's. Now my children and grandchildren eat here. Everything they make is delicious. I love their sour cream chicken enchiladas, their Guiso, their nachos, their breakfast. I can go on and on. The atmosphere is aged, but go enough to eat. I will be going back.
I always eat the caldo de res. Always excellent. Super nice waitress. My favorite is Iris, she always has a smile 😊 and is super friendly.
This is great place for when you want something better than just a burger. They have a great lunch special budget friendly. Its a quick in and out type of restaurant. Really, really servers and staff.
Being from Texas, I feel I am authorized to speak on tex-mex. There is something to be said for a greasy spoon. Now the owners of El Taquito Cafe might take offense at that description but I mean well. This place serves up honest-to-goodness tex-mex and the service is outstanding. While El Taquito might lack some of the bells and whistles of finer dining establishments, they make up for in quality of the food for not too much scratch.I had the Mexican Dinner and it was delicious and I got full for under $10. before tip.Bring cash though because they don't take credit cards. Do yourself a favor, partner and eat at El Taquito Cafe. Muy sabor, pequeno dinero.
