Stan’s has always been a favorite spot of ours since moving to Dallas. But I wouldn’t have stopped to review except I want the management to know how much their staff meant to me this weekend.
My husband and I were at Stan’s with friends on Friday 7/21 (had a great time!) and when we got home I realized the bracelet that my husband had given me as a wedding gift was no longer on my wrist. We went back to Stan’s holding out hope it may still be there, but I was distraught about losing an irreplaceable sentimental item. The bouncer let my husband know where to go for lost and found, and the bartender quizzed him on what it looked like before unlocking the till and producing my lost bracelet.
The clasp had broken and a patron had found it on the floor and turned it into the bar. The staff pointed out the patron who had turned it in which allowed us to thank our hero.
There were a lot of people who had to do the Right Thing for this story to end the way it did, and I just wanted to make sure the staff was acknowledged and they know how big of a deal their small kind actions were to me.
Good people work here, good people go here. Thanks Stan’s ❤️
Great dive bar with tons of big screen TV’s throughout! A perfect place to watch the Rangers postseason games!
Great food as a bonus. I had the delux nachos… Muy Bueno!!!
Looking forward to trying the “specialty” which is spaghetti, seems out of place, right? I figure it must be good for it to be labeled as the house specialty.
Stan’s Blue Note is the rare entertainment dive bar that gets a flat out five star rating. Staff was truly wonderful, welcoming, kind, and hilarious. The prices were reasonable. The AC was kicking and it was very comfortable. They had plenty of bar games, shuffleboard, and a lot of space to spread out. Both front and back patios were comfortable.
This place makes me happy in my soul. I have been trying to find my home away from
home since I moved to Dallas and the crew here has made that dream come true. Lilly and Travis are kind and hospitable, down to earth, and the service is fantastic. I look forward to evenings here weekly.
This place has always been a staple for me when I go out in Dallas. Always the best service, great conversations, and good pricing. The change in security has been a breath of fresh air. Never a dull moment at Stan’s!

Very cool bar to watch a game. Nearly every college football game that was on had fans in attendance. Great for fan rivalry. Super fun atmosphere.

Great bar to watch whatever game you are interested in. Good vibe and ice cold beers. Good variety on tap as well.
My local water hole. I live a block away from Stan's. Great selection of beers and I can certainly recommend the Spaghetti with Meatballs (Monday they have a special for $6.99).
I've been to Stan’s twice. The first time mid-week just as they opened. Actually, I wandered in a few minutes before the official opening time and the bartender, Ericka, generously allowed me to hang out. She was gracious, friendly and efficient. Besides Ericka I was mostly impressed by the size of the bar, the vast selection of beers on tap, and the mellow vibe.
The second time I went was on a Sunday early afternoon. I was a bit concerned about finding a seat at the bar because of football but I was surprised to find only about a dozen folks inside. I ordered the bean and cheese nachos - only 5$! - and they were very good. As was my Deep Ellum IPA mmm. The male bartender spent quite a bit of time talking to his girlfriend, who occupied a seat by herself at the end of the bar.
This could be a great bar but on my two visits it isn't quite there yet.
3 months I have been at this place and asked for non-alcoholic beer and got none. Can someone please stock some, not everyone wants to get drunk🙄
