Liked the ambiance and the mocha cappuccino. Definitely pleasant with the weather for sure. Had the chicken and soup, the sandwich was good, but the soup unfortunately was warm, no biggie, but was still good.
Make sure you get your servers name, the service wasn't bad, but did take a minute when we needed something lol.

Extremely kind, diligent, and courteous staff. Food is unique and consistent. Great atmosphere quite literally feels like the quintessential cozy coffee house. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager Lauren to remark on how impressive the establishment is... and after communicating its clear why they are overflowing with exceptionalism. 10 out 10 see you next time.

Five star food and atmosphere. 4 star service. Staff seems over worked or maybe it was a bad day. Being in the industry I completely understand an off day. But at least smile. I would gladly support since the product is good. If I had a choice and there are many like Starbucks around the corner for coffee or even One Stop across the street for their drip coffee with a quirky staff.
As a service industry you can always do better. Granted I waited 7 mins for my to go coffee. That was not as bad as no thank you or proper greeting.
After review number 265 … this is my first 4 star for service.

First time here. Came on a Sunday morning around 9:30 AM. Parking lot is open & valet is optional. Seating is also open & seat yourself. It wasn’t too crowded & we found seating right away. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Nice casual vibe. Kid friendly.
Iced Horchata latte (decaf) - More coffee flavor with very slight cinnamon.
Iced lavender latte - Very much lavender. Pleasant creaminess.
Coconut Chia Seed Pudding - Lots of berries & lots of nut mix. Nut mix stays crunchy even post mixing. Evident coconut throughout. Not as slimy as I typically expect from chia.
The Ascension Omelette - Potatoes are pretty standard; nice crisp on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside. Not much flavor; just lightly salted. Omelette was cooked nicely & had good flavor.
Overall, everything was above average. I wouldn’t call anything amazing, but everything was good. I’d recommend this place & I’d come back.

Loved this location so much. Jacob was our waiter and he was very attentive and nice. I had plenty of questions since I’m a vegan, he helped me pick somethings outside of my norm here that were still within my restrictions.

Last week a few of us were looking for a cool place to co-work and Ascension was where we landed. The atmosphere, service and food was excellent! The servers Andre and Grace were friendly, accommodating and so very helpful. I highly recommend!!

We love Ascension, so we decided to try out a different location. Our waiter Jacob was great! He was patient and helpful with recommendations!

This place is a whole vibe, great coffee, good service.
The seasonal drinks are fun, but are sometimes hit or miss.
Great place to take a date or grab brunch. On the higher side price wise, but they make you feel like it's worth it

I’ve been here three times already and I love the ambience of the restaurant and location in general. Even though it’s located Uptown, the area still doesn’t feel super busy. The restaurant is very cozy and there’s open seating. The servers are prompt upon you sitting and are very cognizant about the time of when to check in on your table. The food is really good, but leans more toward healthier/clean eating. The portion sizes are just enough to fill you up & I appreciated that. The prices are very reasonable for the location. The only downside is parking, which is valet in front of the shop or in a garage on the backside the shop. If you go on the weekend, there’s a flat parking fee of $10 in the garage. It’s also difficult to know how to get to the coffee shop from the garage if you’ve never been here before due to there being no visible signs to guide you. However, I was able to locate the elevators that take you to the coffee shop.
