First time trying this place, can't wait to go back! Food is great! I only wish the portions were larger given the price. We enjoyed every bite. Drinks were also good! I would stick to their specialties for a unique taste. Staff were friendly and our server was very helpful and hospitable! He even gave us free delicious tea! Highly recommended.
My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. The restaurant is cute but small. I would recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table. The outdoor dining space was large, but it was too hot to sit outside. Although when we were there, the inside of the restaurant was a warm temperature as well. We both got kebabs: shrimp and chicken. The price for the serving is okay, and the food was just average. The shrimp was very salty, but the couscous was delicious. The chicken was a bit dry, but my husband enjoyed the vegetables. The service was good, and the servers worked together to keep our drinks full. Overall, we would probably give this restaurant one more try.
Yesterday I visited Medina Oven and Bar restaurant in Victory Park Dallas and wanted to leave a Google review. The experience was fantastic! The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Medina Oven and Bar and would definitely visit again.
We had just arrived in town and by chance ended up taking an Uber to this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! Excellent food, beautiful place, elegant, clean, friendly staff and fair prices. We loved the tea, the exquisite spices and tastes. Thank you Medina! Our best wishes for health and success.
The place is clean, calm with some Arabic songs playing in the background. I enjoyed the food very tasty. Server was nice snd came immediately to take my order. Waiting time was not bad at all and the flavor of the food was so good. I definitely recommend this place if you want to try some Moroccan cuisine.
Great Moroccan style restaurant. The food is really good. Kind of small portions and pricey but still very good. Different types of drinks. Great atmosphere inside, on the small side. They need to spend some money to fix up their outdoor patio and it would be a whole other dining area. It’s across from these great fountains and could be absolutely stunning if they spent some money on it, overall very good restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food, friendly service and beautiful environment. Located in a lovely area. I ordered apricot chicken and potatoes and a Moroccan coffee. Fantastic!
So to start, I've spent a lot of time in Morocco so Moroccan cuisine is both very familiar to me as well as some of my favourite food. Medina was very good however the lemon chicken tagine (which they call Marrakesh Chicken, I think) lacked a little body in the flavour compared to others Ive had. Also I felt the size of the tagine dish itself was so small it needed a side plate to avoid sending your dinner across the table. As noted in the photo, salad plate next to the tagine for reference. Basically when trying to cut the chicken, you stand a very good chance of pushing a lot of food out of the dish and onto the table. Overall, the flavour was good, just lacking a little of the complexity I've become accustomed to from this dish. I would still go back again to try some of tge other dishes on offer such as the beef tenderloin tagine. Im going to give the salad 4.5 stars. Also puctured, lamb dish and tenderloin tagine.
First time visiting the restaurant and I was not disappointed.
Went there for a late dinner (within hour of closing). The outdoor seating looked nice, but we opted to eat in the main dining area tonight. The main eating area was very clean and cozy. There were not many other patrons, so it was nice and quiet.
We ordered an appetizer and then split a salad and main entree. Doing so made for a perfectly portioned meal. We also had some tea.
Food was great. I would definitely go back for more. Staff was very friendly and prompt. I'm not sure my water glass ever hit half empty.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I would recommend at least giving it a try.
Literally my new favorite Mediterranean Moroccan fusion. Incredible food that I can't believe I never knew about. Suzanna, the owner, was incredibly kind just like the rest of her friendly staff. It's a mom-pop BTS, yet posh enough to take business friend you want to impress. The diversity and quality of food at this restaurant is like a gem that I'll show off to all of my friends and family.
