Best patty melt I’ve had in my LIFE. Staff was very attentive and food came out hot! Everything I ate was top tier. Fun dive bar style decor! Highly recommend.

I used to go to Louie's in the late 80's, but I never realized they served food, my friends and I just went for drinks, lol. So Saturday night I was invited for dinner and let me just say it was all so delicious. I loved their Ceasar Salad, Pepperoni Pizza and their Shrimp Scampi. Their Red Wine was good too. We had a 20 minute wait but we'll worth it. Not a place if you like nice and quiet more for a fun loud dinning experience. Our waitress was very nice and attentive even though she was very busy. I most definitely will go back.

Louie's has been in Dallas for decades! I always try and find spots in Dallas that have been around a while and try them. It was packed 20 minutes after opening, so get there early. The pizza was wonderful, cut into squares. I loved the atmosphere of the whole place, definitely want to go back again!

We saw Louie's on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. We have family from Waukegan, IL so we had to try it out. I had a pizza & my husband had the meatball sandwich. We were not disappointed. The meatball sandwich had great flavor. The Meatballs were not dry. The sauce & cheese combination was really well done. I had a hamburger, onion & bacon pizza on their thin crust. It was absolutely killer. They know how to make a pizza. The crust was thin, flaky & done just right. The sauce was unlike a pizza sauce I've had before. It was a mild tomato flavor & not overpowering in the slightest. Absolutely recommend their food. My only criticism is they could use more parking.

Ahhh so much love for Louies. A regular date night staple for my husband and I. The best pizza in Dallas by far… maybe even the best I’ve ever had. I giggle as I read the negative reviews, but I’m actually quite grateful for the policies they have in place and the standards they require guests to adhere to. There are wayyyyyyy too many entitled people in Dallas walking into establishments like they own the place. Not here though :) just be a good person, and enjoy your pizza and martini. It’s really not so hard. A few tips If you want to have a successful experience here: -get here at 5:20pm (10 mins before opening) on Fri & Sat nights -smaller groups are best suited here -have your complete party present & ready before you expect to be seated. -don’t block the walkway behind the bar

Dave Portnoy throw out the big dog of pizza reviews. He would give this place a 7.9 the thin crust sounds like a symphony. No flop and phenomenal undercarriage. I asked for it extra crispy and it had some charring which added to the flavor. Pizza sauce was a bit on the tasteless side and didn’t get much punch out of the cheese. Will definitely come back, way better than GAPCO.

In my humble opinion, this is the best spot for pizza and a dirty martini! Service is always awesome and super friendly. We always keep it simple with sausage, peppers, and onions on the pizza, and the thin crust is magic.

My husband and I were at this place on a very busy Sat night in late July. We were seated in a quite section of the restaurant and had a server named ELY who was so very nice to us and did a great job. The bar atmosphere was a little noisy for us older folks but the food was wonderful as was Ely. We will surely return on night when they aren't so busy.

Currently, they Are pick up ONLY. Placed an order and hung out at a local bar waiting for the meal (which was fine). The clams casino are so good. My mom used to make them and...theirs is better (sorry Mom). The pizza is super thin crust. If you're like me, you'll love this kind of pizza. The parking is ridiculously tight. And the place looks like a bar, so heads up!

Great pizza. You may have to wait in line and parking can be challenging, but worth the trip from San Antonio. Pretty heavy on the pizza sauce so if that is an issue for you ask them to go lighter.
