I'm not sure why it took us so long to visit Waldron Lodge but I'm glad we finally did. We went on a Saturday night and they were fairly empty. The bartender was our waiter. The staff was great-helpful, nice, funny. The food was good, too. We started with the pork belly lettuce wraps then I had the quail with grits and my boyfriend had the elk sausage. We both really enjoyed our meals. We ended with a yummy apple pie al a mode. The drink menu is also impressive. Good beer selection and fun mixed drinks. I had an Austin Eastciders hard cider and their take on a Moscow mule. My boyfriend had beer and their apple pie moonshine. We are excited to come back with friends for a fun night. They also have a backyard with games and a fire pit. I highly recommend going for food or to have some fun with friends and drinks.

Great food. I think this guy's probably a great hunter. It's hardy and filling but not pricey. They also have a few games in the back, my favorite being ring the bull (I think that's the name). Staff is friendly. Love this place.

Great food including game dishes. Service is wonderful, but you can never reach them. If they would only get a simple website and phone, they'd be much. much busier. In the meantime, it's easier for the rest of us to get a seat.
