Love this day place... The food and services was great.. I will definitely be back.. I so recommend this place to eat some great and delicious food!
Great dining experience. Mo (the owner) spent a lot of time explaining the various dishes to us. Laura (server) was very friendly and attentive. Unique food with great flavors. Chicken shawarma with garlic sauce was outstanding! Get the mini-falafel pitas and try at least two of the desserts. You'll love this place - fresh and authentic and flavorful.
Really one of the best food place in town, it gives you the cozy feeling with the restaurant being small but powerful food. Really really good place!
I ordered a beef shish-kabob with hummus and tabbouleh on the side. The fist thing out was some warm pita bread with olive oil and dipping spices along with a plate with pickled items and olives. Very flavorful and authentic. When my order arrived, it was beautifully presented and a very generous amount. The beef was tender, it could have been a little more seasoned but I know this type of meat isn't usually spicy. The hummus was awesome with a drizzle of olive oil and perfectly blended and seasoned. The tabbouleh was also very good with the expected hint of lemon juice. The service was okay but she was not overly friendly and kept her interactions to one word. A smile would have been nice.
The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms.
If you like Mediterranean or Lebanese food, try this place.
Stopped here for the first time yesterday. Everything from food to drink was excellent. Loved our hummus and shawarma. Lebanese wine selection is excellent. Looking forward to coming back to try more. Several gluten free options for those that need it. Highly recommend supporting a local business like this that is authentic in the flavors with great service.

Nice Lebanese restaurant near Oaklawn and Cedar Springs. Pretty server. The food was delicious. In my opinion, the baba ghanoush and hummus was flavorless. My favourite part was the falafel hands down the best thing on the menu. I got the mixed combo with lamb tawook, chicken tawook, and beef kabob (kofta). The meats were all juicy and filling, just felt like it was flat on the seasoning side. The only negative was the bread wasn’t good at all, it was cold and hard when it got to me. I liked the olive oil & zatar (oregano) combo that comes with every meal. Would come back to give it another shot.
Large portions, excellent food and as authentic as it can get, very chill place, and they also have backgammon LOL. Definitely going to come back here next time I'm in Dallas really superb

Ownership of open sesame is amazing! Mo is thoughtful and keeps his customers first. Amazing service and the food is beyond delicious/ consistently good. Normally I dine in but this time our law firm served a Lebanese style thanksgiving feast! Thank you Mo and thank you for having Open Sesame in Dallas!
Went on a Thursday around 7 and it wasnt crowded at all. Service was really fast. The food us AMAZING! Get the fatoush salad. Its EVERYTHING. The little crunchy bits of goodness add the perfect touch! I went back again to try the lamb and it was worth it. And you get a little view while you eat and sip on real Lebanese wine! It's a whole vibe!!
This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants! The food is authentic and very delicious. Zehre (fried cauliflower) is a must for starters! I love the chicken shawarma, hummus, knafeh with Arabic coffee to finish! So good!! I’m always amazed how much food I order for the price. The service is always great and attentive.
What a great find that truly defines a neighborhood spot. Meticulously prepared and wonderfully seasoned Lebanese/middle eastern vittles that would please from Tel Aviv to Beirut to Amman then back through the side roads. All authentic, beer and wine, great service and prices, and very enjoyable. Can't wait for the next visit!
chicken shawarma plate was really good, and filling… total came up to $18. service could’ve been better… only saw her when it was time for the bill & when the food was delivered. music was a bit loud & distracting. i’d come again for take out for sure.
