My friend and I choose to go to Houlihan's to celebrate my birthday. We chose the fajita Monday night dinner special. Our waiter was outstanding. The food came out promptly, steaming hot and was delicious. The reason for four not five stars is because of how the tortillas are served. They are rolled up, wrapped in aluminum foil, and kept warm in a steamer. Therefore, once served after unwrapping them, they were stuck together and tough. The rest of the food was excellent. We enjoyed an egg roll appetizer and then our fajita dinner. Since it was my birthday the restaurant treated me to a dessert on the house. I choose a creme brulee. It was decadent and delicious! I totally recommend this restaurant.
I do not feel this way very often, but after looking at the menu for a few minutes I became sad we did not have one in OKC. The menu looked delicious, with fun unique variety, and the prices appeared within reason. I got the Charred Ahi-Tuni salad and it was delicious. I have not had a salad with the variety of flavors that came with that meal. My parents loved their Asian Salad and kept talking about all the things in it. My husband got their Thai Noodle seasonal dish, he said it was good, but did not like it the way we liked our meals. The French Onion soup was awesome. I liked how they offered a seasonal menu and as well the variety in produce in their meal items. Lots of healthy items to choose from. They as well showed the calories for those concerned about that. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we were all to full. They were as well very kid friendly and had little alcoves making your dinner experience more private. I definately want to come back.
Checked out Houlihan's happy hour this afternoon with my girl... We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Good food, good drinks at great prices. My girl had the stuffed 'shrooms and the Thai wings, and since it's lent I had the spinach dip and margherita flatbread...all just $5. We had a great server who made suggestions and was very attentive. I look forward to bringing other friends back for happy hour.
So so fun!!!! We went here on my Birthday with friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was new to me and made me feel so special. We got free dessert for it being our first time to eat there, AND free dessert because it was my birthday! I love the wait staff here. They were very friendly and informative. They were also helpful in accommodating my diet needs and making substitutions wasn't a problem. Portions we're good sized and the presentation was beautiful. I have pictured here the Tuscan White Bean salad (if I remember the name correctly). Would go here again. Loved everything about it.
The food here is good and the ambiance is cool. There are several good looking things on the menu. They have a limited time and more experimental menu that looked cool. We ordered off of the 3 choose menu, which was cool. I went out of my comfort zone and got the ahi tuna appetizer and it was good in the wasabi mayo. The steak, meatloaf mashed potatoes are good. The brownie fudge cake was good but rich! We got random coupon gifts, so we look forward to going back and seeing what we get!
I love their Happy Hour! I always want to try a new appetizer but absolutely have to give in and get the Tuna Poke Nachos!
