A Dallas staple. Been awhile since I've been to this location, but I found it when I moved here in 2013. The food is top-notch, and I love the coffee. They are a popular brunch location and was very busy when I visited. Therefore, the service was understandably a bit slow, but not terribly. If you haven't tried at least one of their locations, you're missing out!
Ascension - The act of rising to an important position or a higher level. That's the definition and sums up my experience. Its truly giving the term grabbing a cup of Joe to the next level. If you get the chance, elect to sit on the patio. The day I visited, was absolutely bliss.. The tea I ordered was fantastic and the pastries was delicious. I definitely give Acension Coffee two thumbs up...
In town for weekend & looking for a unique coffee/ Cafe option. This did not disappoint. Waiter was very attentive and made suggestions that were great for someone who had not been here before. Food, chorizo breakfast tacos, were delicious & slow pour Ethiopian blend tastes phenomenal. Customer service was high class. Thank you for a great experience!
1st time coming. Saw it on tik tok, and the service was amazing. It was a very chill vibe inside, and the food tasted like it was made from scratch very good. If you come in the winter, recommend the holiday flight.
The decor!!! I absolutely loved the vibe here. I’m a plant lover and the fact that the patio is covered by green 🍃 makes this place a go to for me. I got the Horchata Latte (I think that was the name) and it was definitely delicious. We’ll be returning for some lunch or pastry soon and over and over for the caffeine boost!
Got the cardamom latte and it was good! I went with a friend who got a meal and some coffee. The menu and selection is great. They have some more interesting coffee choices as well as the classics. The menu is fresh and there seems to be a selection for anyone!
In terms of coffee shops, I think there is better coffee for better prices in the area, but this is definitely the only coffee shop in the area I have found that also provides a good selection of food (I don’t like to drink coffee on an empty stomach). Definitely will recommend for any coffee dates or anyone looking to grab a nice, quick breakfast and coffee with friends :)
We had Michael as our server and I was inspired to write this review because I was blown away by his 5 star service. Not only were we well taken care of but he went above and beyond several times to make us feel welcomed and pampered. The food was exceptional and the coffee was out of this world delicious. We will absolutely be returning to see our new favorite server, the MVP, the goat, Michael with the dreads and the cool Versace glasses. If you haven’t tried ascension coffee, DO IT!!!!
Been here a dozen times. For the most part food is good. It could be me, French Toast wasn't as good as they have been in the past. Maybe a different cook. Could not give it 5 stars because they served my cappuccinos in to go cups. When I go to sit down at a restaurant, I expect my cappuccinos to be served in mugs. Waiter said they ran out of mugs.
Good coffee and lots of specialty coffee options and other drinks available along with an extensive menu of food items for all day dining. I especially enjoy the breakfast
And brunch dishes.
Nice atmosphere with good indoor seating space for a place to meet up with friends or a morning business meeting. Outside seating available too. Parking can be tight, but free valet parking available too.
It was good food but you are paying more for the location and atmosphere.
