A little pricy, but you get what you pay for. Food was fresh and flavorful. We were one of the first tables in for dinner and the place was empty i hope it filled as the night went on. I always forget the place is around because it is away from bishop arts ... we will be back
Wonderful dining experience. The wait staff are very knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. The food was incredible. We had the chicken mole enchiladas and the seafood enchiladas. Looking forward to returning to try other menu items.
The food was AMAZING! Service lacked. Granted we went on a Saturday night, but wow service was slow. You'd assume there was only on person working there. We had to ask for our waiter numerous time. The only reason this place still got 4 stars is because the food was so delicious. The Salmon and Ropa Vieja are both worth a try. The spicy margarita was as described. The Jamaica Paloma was really good too.
Mole, Mole, Mole, Fabulous Sweet Mole - Yes, that’s what I take from our wonderful Saturday night dinner - Glad we made reservation for it was packed - Enticing Mesa cocktails of martinis and mules - Delicious “Guacamole”; “Guiso Del Chef”; and, “Mole Enchiladas” - Our server didn’t miss a beat the whole evening - Ended on a lovely note of their “Mexican Style Tres Leches Cake” in a lively atmosphere!
Friendly restaurant with fresh tasting Mexican food. Service was excellent and while we were dining with our family, two separate couples that were friends stopped in for dinner as well. Although we were filled after our meal, the server suggested desert and initially we declined but when offered a "sampler" we did a why not. Three of their signature deserts on one plate. The coconut cream cake was my favorite.
I've dined here a few times. The food is quite delicious and the service is great! The prices are a little steep for the amount of food; however, it is money well spent.
Salmon was perfectly done as were the green beans. The desserts sampler - flan and tres leches were yummy.
The best mole in the entire state of Texas chef olga soda. It was a shame that the restaurant had to close for reasons unknown to the public but if someone wants to talk about their exquisite food they can contact me I have their private number.
Mesa rocks! And if you're cool with Raul, he might even serenade you. Would highly recommend. Excellent food and service. Drinks are exceptional.
The food was awesome! Recommended the Mole and the salmon with crab topping...
Man, I was totally bowled over by this place. At first it seems super small and then they lead you to the back area which feels like an outdoor patio which is great. Service was excellent. The cocktails were delicious. And then there's the food. Such great and delicious foods. Wonderful takes on classic Mexican dishes. My shrimps were spicy (but not to spicy or "spicy for the sake of spicey") and utterly delicious. I loved this place and can't wait to get back.
I had a great time here. The seafood soup is super flavorful and filling. The cocktails are great especially if you’re a tequila/mezcal fan. The bartender was super nice and let me have a sample of the spicy tequila which was indeed spicy. The rest of the staff was great, hey came around and made sure my food was fine and even gave me tips for other bars to visit during my trip in Dallas.
