At 1:30 in the morning with options limited I’m usually discouraged and not really expecting much out of anywhere only a few places are worth recommending or even mentioning…. ill be the first to tell you that cafe gecko went above and beyond and had a great menu with great service and Excellent execution of the menu items

First time here. Server McKenzie (sp?) was outstanding. Fast with drink refills and very helpful with food recommendations. The bar itself has a cool vibe. Kitchen is also open until 2am, which is great. Certainly a place I will return to.

Love this place and our server is always fantastic. I am not a huge fan of smoking establishments (only reason for the 4 star instead of 5), but the food and the service do make up for that. I am a huge fan of the smoked turkey melt with fries. For a while, we went here for lunch as an office twice a week, for months. Then, we decided we need to try out the other places too.

If you're not a smoker the patio is the best place to sit. I sat as far away as possible and still smelled the smoke. I ordered the Deep Eddy peach drink. Which is pretty good. To eat, I ordered a Po'boy. It wasn't Authentic since the house sauce was basically cocktail sauce. But the overall atmosphere was decent. The entire meal was under $20.

The seafood nachos with shrimp and crab were delicious - not your typical nacho but very tasty and fresh. The service is great. The only thing I wasn't expecting was that they allow smoking. We moved outside to the patio and enjoyed the atmosphere and music and had a great time. We will definitely be going back.

Oh my God such good nachos. Get the sour cream chicken nachos. The only con is that the people smoke like chimneys so If you dont smoke you will suffocate unless you eat outside. Great hospitality

Best stuffed jalapenos in the Metroplex! I've been coming to this spot for 15 years and nothing has changed. Impeccable service, food and atmosphere! While I no longer live in the area, anytime I'm close I'm sure to stop by.
