Checkers

Been living in Dade City for 20+ years. Back then I couldn't get enough of the burgers. Always delicious. Back maybe 6 years ago I started noticing the food has been a bit more saltier than usual. I normally can muddle through but today's food was excessively salty. What happened to the food? My drink was warm as well and I waited 15 just to get up to the speaker to order and when I finally did I waited even more for the van who had been waiting for their food to get their food. I would've backed up to leave but there were cars in back of me. Other than all of that.... the staff has always been pretty friendly. CHECKERS..... PLEASE TONE IT DOWN ON THE SALT!!!

They have some of the best fries out of all the fast food, but tonight 5/7/2022 we sat for over 45 minutes without any services, just sat in front of the drive thru menu waiting to order., sat from 8-850, not sure why the service was so bad, ended up just leaving. message to the owner: I went on your site and left information about the visit. :)

Never was a fan of Checkers. The burgers if served hot are good but those frys are horrible. I just don't get it by not giving the option of regular frys instead of those chemical dusted "seasoned" frys eliminates a percentage of customers who enjoy frys unmolested, which is why I seldom go to a Checkers. As fate would have it the restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed, which solicited a "let's get something at Checkers" comment so there we were second in line on a Sunday at around 1045am. Three meals off their menu were ordered nothing altered like hold the pickle on.one of them We pay at the window with two 20's and received a few coins back so few you could argue that 40 dollars was spent for three meals. We were asked to park and park we did. 26 minutes later and still waiting, my fiance gets out of the vehicle and walks up to the window to.inquire on our order. She was handed our order at that time, by the temperature of the food it was easy to conclude it had been sitting on the counter for sometime, 26 minutes in 90 degree heat to find out no.one bothered to bring it out to us. That's 40 dollars I can never get back on a meal practically unfit for human.consumption. The place was not slammed at any given time during our wait time no more than three vehicles were in line. I understand sh@t happens but does it always have to happen to me? That 40 may be well spent in hindsight, next time someone suggests Checkers I can mention the frys and now my experience there to shut down that suggestion. I feel my luck is shifting slowly to the good, I will test it another day.
