The rest rooms are clean a little air freashener would help though as it was hot a humid in there. The line workers were very nice an attentive. The food was just digestible. It lacked any flavor or seasoning. Broccoli was bland I added salt that helped. Macaroni was flavorless. I chose liver and onions yes I know but I like it well not this one. It had no flavor or seasoning as I already stated the only thing that made it ok was the brown gravy which was good. Sweet tea if you wondering is just tea with a hint of sweet. You would think that since you have unsweetened tea you would make the sweet tea actually sweet. Service once I chose my seat was lacking. I tried to flag down a gentle man who's section I was sitting in for some salt and sugar but he pretended ro not see me on several occasion. I'll assume I must have looked like I don't tip (I tip very well and more than the average). They seem to be short handed and I can understand that as people don't want to work for $2.95 hr plus tips (I wouldn't either).... Anyway if you have a big party this is the place to go they have plenty room but don't come looking for good food or at least if you do throw some Tony chacres in your purse.

I SO MISS LUBY'S! I really don't want to share because then, they'll get all the business and things will change. But let me share. 1st time at this location. Look like a whole lodge. I had to make sure I was at the right place. Nice atmosphere. The environment is well respected by those that are regulars. The food line .... always filled and clean. The line attendees cater to your request. Well seasoned food items of choice. OH! THE PORTIONS?!?! 😳 OM gosh! I was able to make two meals from that visit. They are not shy to feeding their guest. There were some petty observations but nothing to discourage this experience. I will travel for good food. I suggest a visit.

I've been coming here lately. It's different from what we're use to (old cafeteria style), but that's why I like it. It's mostly American style food. I like the open concept with outdoor patio. Also, they have a variety of choices that suits just about anyone's tastes from fish to pork. As well as several sides to choose from. Just about everything here tastes great. This place is a nice break from fast food lines and burning gas, waiting for door dash and the food is cold, or a regular restaurant and waiting for your food to be cooked.

Hot a fresh. Four stars due to given the prices have increased, the portion size should too. I should be able to have mashed potatoes put in my plate as requested to accompany my chicken fried chicken and not limited to a 6oz bowl. Especially for my meal to be $14 without the drink. My roll was as hard as a hockey puck & even when our server brought a "fresh" one it was just as hard so I decided I just didn't need bread. I like Lubys, but the portion for sides should be upgraded. Something to address with management.

Went for an early Mothers Day Lunch with my uoungest son and youngest Granddaughter. Lunch was delicious. Due to covid I do not go inside but I did today with my 5 layer mask on and we sat way away from everyone. The server wore a mask as well. The dinner was delicious, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and white gravy and broccoli with cheese and a yeast roll with unsweetened tea, Lou Ann plate. Yum. It was so nice to get out of the house as well.

Lubys is fantastic, I wish they had more locations for accessibility. You get actual vegetables here!(i like to order the fried okra which isn't exactly healthy lol) I usually drive thru/to go. Their food is consistent and it really seems overall relatively healthy. I don't feel overly thirsty after eating overly salted food. Things aren't overloaded with oil and grease. I never get stomach issues or have to use the bathroom immediately after. Almost all fast food places and many restaurants have those negative qualities and that's what sets Lubys apart from my experience. While its not the typical fast food experience and can sometimes take 15 minutes or more to get your food if they run out of something
