Donut Connection

Whenever I watch Pulp Fiction, it makes me want to go out to a breakfast/diner kind of place, and Donut Connection was the only one open at 5am. It was a magical experience. The menu is bare-bones, but the coffee, fritter, and egg bagel that I had did the trick just fine. I wish they had mugs instead of styrofoam for the coffee. The lady working the joint was very nice. I felt like a noble. My favorite part was the atmosphere that only this sun-bleached establishment could convey. I was the only customer there at such an early hour, and the peaceful silence I enjoyed while watching the dawn roll in through the wall of windows was one of a kind. For 14 years I drove by this little sanctuary without a second thought, and I'm glad I visited. I'll be back! ♥

Do not go here expecting dunkin donuts! (Annoying to read reviews with that expectation mentality) This is an old school donut dinner type of shop. Yes you'll probably even find a rough local or two milking a cup of coffee. If that bothers you, you have my pity. If, on the other hand, that isn't a problem for you, then you will have the pleasure of the best donuts in the Akron area. Enjoy!!

I was treated very rudely by the man behind the counter. I asked for 4 fritters to take to work as a special treat for four of my co-workers. I wanted to make each separate and he said he didn't have any boxes just bags. I said ok. He stuffed each fritter into each bag so carelessly that the bags looked like a wrinkled mess. So much for making each one look special. I asked for more of the tissue paper to put in with each and he pulled four tissues out and actually threw them at me. They landed on the dirty counter. I left and will never go back there.

If you go on past 12 they will have nothing but old coffee.the older man that is always here is what detours me from coming here. He is rude and acts like me coming in is an inconvenience. No please.no thank you.just grunts and dirty looks. Came here twice and will never be back again.go to juibilee . they actually have do its and great customer service!
