El Meson

Just enjoyed yet another absolutely delicious meal at El Meson on their beautiful outdoor patio. Such a treat! Everything from the warm crispy chips, tasty salsa, & fresh guacamole to our stellar burritos & pollo loco rated 5 stars! No wonder El Meson has such a loyal following. This place is the best! Owner Tomas & his team prepare top quality authentic Mexican cuisine & great friendly service in a lovely setting. And their homemade signature margaritas with fresh limes/oranges/lemons & golden ingredients are, by far, better than any we have ever had in Mexico & Central America as well as anywhere in U.S.! We look forward to dining at their newly opened Stow location. If you love authentic Mexican cuisine, eat here. You’ll be back for more!😊

I was going to give only two stars based on my one and only experience here, but I gave three because I was ensured by my friends that it's usually better. The place itself is pretty nice. It's spacious, has nice decor and an outside eating area. So that was the highlight of my experience. The food was ok. Not bad, but not amazing either. And I actually found my fajita quesadilla to be very salty tasting for some reason. The real reason for my disappointing experience was the service. There was some confusion with my girlfriends drink order. She saw they had a white claw margarita so assumed they had just white claw as well. She ordered a white claw but they brought out the margarita version, she said she just wanted a white claw seltzer. They said they didn't have just white claw, which is weird since they have a white claw margarita. My gf is doing keto so the margarita wasn't an option. She politely apologized for the misunderstanding and declined the margarita. Well you would have thought a wasted margarita was a cardinal sin or something. He kept trying to tell her it was good and that she should try it. After refusing again, then they had the bartender come over and he tried to sell this margarita. It's like we get it, it's good. But it's not keto friendly so it wouldn't work. After that, you could tell the waiter was not happy. He seemed very annoyed and put out to deal with us. It was just weird.

The food was amazing and so were the drinks. I had my very first strawberry daiquiri and it's the best alcohol beverage I had in a while. The only downfall was the waiting for certain things but they were so busy and the food was so amazing that I didn't mind waiting. I highly recommend this place to friends, family, and people I don't know. If you try any Mexican restaurant, make sure this one is on that list.

I’ve been dying to come here. Finally got my chance! Drinks, Drinks and more Drinks! Quite the beverage menu, something for everyone. Margarita was amazing. Food was hot, and delicious. Kinda picky when it comes to Mexican, but I enjoyed the food and beverage choices made that night. Our waitress Betty had her hands full with our table of 7 but excelled with our drinks being topped off, shots kept coming when asked and just made our night a pleasurable one. Definitely will say I will be back, I can completely understand why this place is so busy! Well worth the wait!

One of the best Mexican restaurants we've been to. Everything tasted very fresh and high quality. The proportions of everything (as you can see) were great size for the price! Our waiter Zach was very friendly and polite in every interaction. We will definitely be back to enjoy great food and drinks!
