Logans Roadhouse

We visited Logan's Roadhouse on Valentines Day. We got there about 430p and was told it was about a 30-45 minute wait. We had the time, so we said okay. We were called to our table about 515pm. We ordered tea and water, I had a rib-eye with salad and baked potato, my husband ordered the grilled meatloaf that came with mashed potatoes and 2 other vegetables. His was supposed to $9.99 because we got there before 6pm. Mine was $19.99. Our server was Faith. She was very friendly and a good server. The kitchen was very slow, but we expected that on Valentines Day. My steak was over-cooked, but instead of making a fuss about it, I ate it. When the check came, it was almost 630p. We were charged the full amount of $13.99 for my husband's meal. We asked why and Faith said because we were seated after 6pm. No, we weren't. I had proof on my phone when we were texted that our table was ready. We asked that the amount be corrected on our ticket. Finally, it was corrected after much back and forth. Overall, our meal was rather average and probably below average for the money. I'm only giving them 4 stars because they handled a huge crowd of people all afternoon with grace and pleasantness. There's just not enough of that going around right now.

The hosts and our server explained that they were very short staffed and it was obvious. My server had several tables all over the place - not his fault that things were slow moving. We waited about 20 minutes and got a table. They brought out a salad for us and we had no silverware. Sweet tea tasted like water. Rolls weren’t hot. Fried mushroom appetizer was very greasy. I ordered the fried cheese and bacon burger and well, look at the photos. They replaced the fried cheese with literal cheese sticks and they weren’t even cooked. Very hard. My burger was ordered well done and it was still raw in the middle. The only thing that server did that bothered me was when I sat down at the table, I told him I had a to go order also. He said “I’ll get it when your food comes out, that way it’s not sitting and getting cold” I said okay. After the food came out and we complained about it, I said “I’ve still got a to-go order” and he literally said “well are you sure? It’s gonna take about an hour” and I was mad. I still tipped him well after the manager took off the burger but I won’t be back there. The cooks in the back obviously have never cooked before.

My coworker and I came here for lunch today. We arrived about 11:10am and were seated promptly. The food was great. The service was meh. Which I didn’t understand because there was hardly anyone else in there at the time. The restaurant appears very dirty. The floors had just been hosed down and was still very wet and slick in some places with no wet floor signs. There was obvious signs of the booths needing to be cleaned, especially on the bottoms facing the other booths in plain site. Im not even sure what it is, but it looks disgusting. 2 stars for the food.

We were seated at 12:30, didn’t get our food until 2:30. The waiter was nice (the reason for my two stars) and stated they were down 3 cooks and 2 servers. No salads were available. Our steaks and shrimp were cold. My father and I both ordered medium steaks and they were cardboard hard. I couldn’t even eat mine and I am not one to complain. I eat whatever’s put in front of me. I don’t blame the server, and I’m sure the cooks were doing the best they could, but if you have paying customers you have to make sure things are edible. The waiter did make sure we had everything we needed and the drinks were refilled promptly.

The food was delicious. My husband and I both had steaks and they were done perfectly. Our server, Danielle, recommended the loaded potato skins and they didn't disappoint. The steak is always so tender, exactly why we keep coming back. Already been once this week, and may come again before the week is out.

We had a party of around 20. The server was fantastic. Paying our checks was a totally different matter. It took over 30 minutes for half of the group to pay before we could leave. The manager should have stepped in and helped but instead wanted to blame her wait staff. Your staff can only be as good as it's management. Waitress gets a 10. Manager gets a flat ZERO. And her arrogant attitude a minus 10
