Steak Out Subs

Phenomenal food and friendly service! A buddy of mine suggested we try this place out while I was in town on vacation. The Food was hot and fresh and the portion sizes were just right! I highly recommend the Cheesesteak combo with crispy fries and upgrading to the chocolate shake! This was seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Next time I’m in town I definitely plan on coming back for more!

I would give it five stars but unfortunately i just don't agree with the price to food ratio. For two people to eat. Sub, Fries and Drink it came out to $41 including a $5 tip. You can go to Dockside Deli down the road for the same if not better quality , bigger portions and for up too $15 less. The food was good. But not for the price.

I never leave reviews. But felt obligated to leave one regarding the change of a menu item from the previous owner. I used to get the Steak Out salad at least once a week. It was a bed of mixed spring greens, with grapes, beets, carrots, bananna peppers, onions and cucumbers and I always got it with the chicken salad and basalmic dressing. It was something I really looked forward to. Well I have been reluctant to go back since the change in ownership becuase during the change there were delays with getting food out as fast as I needed during my lunch break. But I called and ordered the Steak Out salad today with chicken salad and basalmic dressing. And I was SHOCKED when I picked up my order that I had recevied LEAVES of romaine lettuce sprinkled with bacon peices, blue cheese, tomatoes, onions and croutons, chicken salad on the side and vinegarette dressing (not basalmic). This salad did not resemble the old menu item at all. In fact it didn't resemble a salad at all. I was going to go to the counter and complain but I was too at loss of words. I did eat this "salad" after cutting it up with my plastic silverware and while it didnt taste bad it was not what I was looking forward to or expected and it should have been comunicated that they compeltety changed it up. So they are getting this 2 star review for really not delivering what was expected. *review update* Never said I wasnt going to eat there again. But rude remarks from the new owner will guarantee that I dont! This is just a friendly criticism and here is another one.... learn how to make a salad.......for $11, I shouldnt of had to cut it up myself.

This place is two snaps up! Fantastically fresh Philly cheese made to order that sent exhilarating taste bud Sensations through my food appreciation zones! I had the sweet potato waffle fries boosted with the brown sugar sauce and my companion had some muy Fantastico onion rings. And wish they would extend their hours as I'm sure they could do much more business..
