Awesome coffee shop! Grounds serves a variety of tea and coffee beverages in addition to cute seasonal drinks. I love their chai latte served both cold and hot. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Lots of seating to sit down and chat with friends. I do wish they were open later!Such a cute place!

Very very cute addition to downtown Crystal Lake! I had even gotten something I didn’t love and the girls were kind enough to remake a new drink no questions asked. Had a breakfast sandwich and it was good and all of the pastries looked delicious! Lots of cute stuff to look at and shop from and the couches and tables were very comfortable.

I live in Crystal Lake and can’t believe today was my first time trying Ground Coffee Shop. Amazing. I tried the thin mint iced latte (seasonal drink) and it was amazing. For those complaining about the price…..it’s no more than your Starbucks drinks AND you’re contributing to a local shop. Staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I think I found my new go to place.

Great coffee, nice sandwiches and treats, and relaxing atmosphere. Unlike many coffee shops, the coffee doesn't come out boiling hot and is drinkable right away. Their iced drinks are also very delicious. They change and vary their seasonal drinks very often which all are delicious and unique. There is plenty of seating inside even when it is busy! They have a friendly staff that provides quick service. Definitely prefer Grounds over Starbucks anyday.

Definitively a good and peace place to go. I found this place from my Airbnb host’s recommendation during my week stay. Pretty busy during the morning on weekdays. And if you need to stay for work, be prepared to arrive early even though there are enough spots for people. Nice neighborhood spot for coffee and getting some fresh air at their outdoor seating area. Staff are very friendly and the prices are in line with the rest of the neighborhood. The latte art is always on point and you can tell the staff really are passionate about providing a good product. You’re all amazing and are a fantastic start to my day. Definitely check it out!
