Buzzy and I enjoy the food and the staff people have become our friends. What a joy it is to walk in the door and smell delicious food and see many happy people. Lots of laughter. Love to watch the servers go by with beautiful plates of food. So close to where we live. It’s our favorite place to go. Good bartenders too.
Mark and his team did an amazing job catering our wedding at Glass House Winery. From assisting us with specific guests’ dietary needs, to set up and breakdown - it was seamless. We appreciated the thorough service and wonderful food presentation. Our guests commented how fantastic the food was and we will continue to recommend your services for all occasions! We are also regular patrons at the restaurant and are always amazed by the great prices, incredible food, service and friendly atmosphere!
Crozet Gem. Great place to go for an informal dinner and a few beers. Great service- very friendly staff.
The chicken wings are excellent and the burgers are really good. Good local drink selections. Fills up fast so go early to get a seat.
Nice Local Hangout. Can't decide where to go out to eat on the spur of the moment west of Charlottesville? Try Fardowners in Crozet... great burgers, lively atmosphere, snappy and friendly service. Not "fine" dining by a longshot, but it's a great alternative. Nothing snooty about Fardowners... just good, locally-sourced, food that pleases!
Love It!!. I can always count on Fardowners for a delicious meal, no matter what I am craving. They have a huge selection on the menu, including sandwiches, steaks, ribs, and pasta. They often use local ingredients, and they even make their own hotsauces, which are fantastic! I really love their Sunday brunch, which is without a doubt the best brunch in the Charlottesville area. The atmosphere is cozy but not crowded. The employees are always friendly and service is excellent! The prices are very reasonable and you always leave with a full stomach. The bar is a fun place to hangout especially with live local music on the weekends. I highly recommend this place!
Like It!!. My husband and I went and LOVED the artichoke dip. We practically licked the bowl. And the hummus is good. Like the price points and the fact that it's a changing menu. Wonderful atmosphere ... I felt like we were in an upscale New York restaurant. They have ladies night on Thursday and I've decided to invite some ladies and have some fun.
Good people, increasingly good menu. Been going here since they first opened. The food is getting betting, the menu is changing up a bit, and now that they have a smoker, they are adding some new specials like smoked chicken pot pie and pastrami. The owners are great and very friendly.
We went to Fardowners for dinner last night and got their chicken wings, salad, and tater tots. A simple meal, but it was tasty. The meat was falling off the bone for the wings and the apple cider vinaigrette for the salad was delicious. Glad we stopped by here!
Fantastic restaurant! Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and great price! The owner made Mother’s Day was extra special by bringing roses to all the mothers in the restaurant. I’ve been here plenty of times and they’ve always consistent! Can’t wait to head back soon.
Local restaurant with great menu options. Portions were generous. Opted for an appetizer based on our server's recommendation; definitely recommend the tachos. Our server was very attentive and the service was great. Would go again! 😊
Wonderful brunch location! It was hard to make a decision on their menu because everything looked tasty. The Bloody Mary with candied bacon was on point (although costed more than my breakfast $12) The biscuits and gravy were awesome...the plate could have benefited from more gravy. Fardowners Benedict was great, just a bit dry (more hollandaise please). Lots a great options! Cheers
Great food!! Adorable little place that has a home like feel. Everything was amazing! The have craft beers, wings, burgers, Mac and cheese. LOVED the red pepper Gouda soup.
Fardowners is a great Crozet icon to grab lunch, dinner, or a Sunday brunch. They don’t take reservations, so be prepared for a short wait during busy times. If you’re waiting, check out the nearby coffee shop called Mudhouse for a snack. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. Be sure to explore the rotating beer/cider menu and dive into the locally sourced dishes!
Great cozy space! Did Sunday brunch. Food was seasoned good and good quality. Busy morning so might be why food wasn't "piping hot". Would eat here again. Appreciated the owner visiting the tables and interacting with the patrons!!
Very neat small & casual local restaurant & bar, right in front of the train tracks. Great selection of locally brewed beers & pub food.
