It was clean and had a comfortable atmosphere with really nice service staff. Though, strangely, there were a lot of people here with kids. Not sure if that is just a coincidence.
My Chicken Parm was excellent, but my wife said her Salmon was fine although dry.
The creme brulee we got for dessert was also really good.
The food is amazing. Last time I was here, I had the mushroom burger (no longer available). It was so juicy and perfectly seasoned. I still think about that burger. I’ll have to try adding chopped mushrooms into the ground beef when I make my own. This time I had the salmon and cauliflower. It was good, but unfortunately, I am not fond of the capers in the dish. Next time, I’ll be diligent in ensuring there are no ingredients I particularly dislike before ordering. The rest of the dish was well-made and delicious.
Our server Jamie was so attentive and made my group feel very welcome. He gave my mother his recommendation, and she ended up loving the panko chicken salad! It’s a nice restaurant, but the inside is too crowded and noisy for my taste. The outdoor seating area is the best option in my opinion.
Excellent food and service. Great value. Wish the outdoor patio was opened. Too bad it was raining. The price was fair, portion was generous and the food was delicious. The service was attentive. Had 3 egg breakfast and a bowl of mixed berries. The chicken sausage was outstanding and the fingerling potatoes were delicious. Wife had mushroom ravioli. She was content. Nice touch with chocolate with the check. Kid / baby friendly. Will definitely return.
We were there for brunch/lunch. Service was great. Gnocchi was great, too.
But not my Eggs Benedict with lobster tail ($22). Price wise, I shouldn't expect it would be a whole lobster tail. A spoonful of chopped lobster was scattered on the toast (yes, toast. That was alright as a variation). The poached eggs on top looked just miserable - broken when served. I won't expect this from Ruscello. Maybe it is just me but a prettier Eggs Benedict would brighten up my day.
The food was truly astonishing, could not have asked fora better spinach & artichoke dip. The soup was flawless, and the chicken parmesan was excellent. However, after ordering it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive, although it was worth the wait, it was just too much to wait for such a long time considering the restaurant was packed at the time.
This is for their lobster bisque. It was really tasty. The right level of tanginess and creaminess. There's another thing added in there that I can't quite tell that makes it more fragrant. Wasn't mega salty either like other places with lobster bisque so I was kinda surprised there. The slice of cheese bread that came with it was great too.
Food is fine, but soup not my type.
Outdoor seat is very nice and comfortable.
Had a bowl of the signature roma tomato soup perfectly paired with parmessan crostini...for $8/bowl. Nice ambience. Definitely Repeat!
Ruscello is located in the Nordstrom store, so you might not expect too much. Surprise!! It's great!! The food is prepared with excellent ingredients, and attractively presented. The service is also very good. You can eat inside or on the pleasant outdoor balcony. Try it, you'll like it!!
This is a restaurant which should not be mistaken for a “mall pit stop to fuel up.” The menu is well-thought out, seasonally, locally sourced and well-executed by its kitchen chefs. A diner cannot go wrong with any of its salads and choice of protein paired with its mixed drink offerings. Service is consistently excellent, there when needed but not smothering. It’s patio is a brilliant but still relatively undiscovered escape from the mall madness just beyond entry doors. Go, enjoy but keep it quiet as quiet but quality is its secret to a successful meal amongst the retail jungle life.
