All the dishes were absolutely delicious. It's beyond my expectations. I'm not a veggie person but the salad here is amazing. It's so flavorful and fresh. On top of that our waitress was awesome. Great food & great service. 👍👍
Been here several times now. Recently celebrated our 30th anniversary there too! I'm pretty picky but have to say best service and food! Every dish is presented well, prepared amazingly, flavors defy description. Accommodating of food sensitivities. Management and servers have a rare and beautiful attitude. Guess I like this place. Don't go - leave it for the rest of us.
I love this place, I would have to say it's one of the best tapas restaurants I frequent for tapas. It's a small and intimate restaurant located in SoCo off the 405 and Hyland. I highly recommend reservations for a big group of 6+ people. This place can be really busy. The staff there is always great and everything on the menu is a must try. My favorite picks would be their Octopus, short rib, & cheese platters.
My peeps took me here for my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Great atmosphere. Our waitress was great and super helpful. Food selection was phenomenal. I always want more offal choices but that seems to be rare in the OC sadly... overall would love to come back for another meal for sure. I highly recommend the hot shrimp dish, bloody Maria, flan, bone marrow... the list goes on and on :)
This place was busy on a Friday night! Definitely need reservations to get a seat in the small space. The tapas were really good but a bit on the pricey side. The beet salad was good but only fills half the small plate. The other favorite dishes were the cheese board and the goat cheese cheesecake.
Stay away from the veggie paella. Weird spices in there that were unfavorable to our whole table.
The drinks are good but mostly wine and beer cocktails due to a liquor license thing. I still really liked them and wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't mentioned.
The menu has an interesting variety of tapas. Two people shared 3 tapas and we were satisfied. All 3 dishes were very good and the Higos con queso - mission figs stuffed with cheese and wrapped in smoked boar were delightful! The place is small so make a reservation as it does fill up. It's a casual atmosphere but a drape or swinging door between the bar and the kitchen area would be nice.
Tapas is the keyword here. Shareable little dishes to share amongst good company. Flavor was delicious, you pay for what you get. The service was friendly and helpful. Treated my friends and I well and gave us some good recommendations. We had the vaca, shrimp, fish Tapas, as well as lamb meatballs and the chicken wings. All were the very tasteful, but my favorite was the fish toast tapa.
Good quick lunch for two. Another restaurant option at OC Mix and first time for us at Pueblo. We ordered 2 Bloody Marias (3/5) $12/each, Maiz Y Chuleta Lamb (5/5) $18, Montadio de Costilla short ribs on toasts (3/5) $16, Queso Fundido (3/5) $10.
A very great Spanish cuisine. Now we can have one more choice other than the VACA.
The victory golden monkey beer is also astonishing.
10/10 would definitely come again.
Best little Hidden Gem that I bring clients and colleagues to impress them on the cool place that I know.
On this visit, I tried the steak salad. I'm not eating carbs so this was a must for me. It was easily the best steak salad I've ever had in my life, and I want to come here weekly and have it again.
Great food, great flavor and great friendly service. We all loved it and we will be going back for more
The food was excellent. Spanish tapas and tasty meals. Seemed very popular and the place was packed the whole time we were there. I had skirt steak with a Spanish omelette and a small salad. Yummy.
