Winans Chocolates & Coffees

Just in time for Christmas! I got so many of my Christmas gifts from here this year and they were all hits! You really cant go wrong with good chocolate, and this is some of the best I've had! The service was friendly and helpful and my steamer was excellent (bonus points for having coconut milk!). Can't wait to see what they do for Valentine's Day!

My wife and I stopped in just as we were leaving town to drive back home from a doctor appointment. I wanted some coffee and we wanted a few chocolates for the 2 hour drive home. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted and the woman working the counter offered to help us find whatever we wanted. We chatted about coffee for a second and she made a suggestion for some light roast beans and then offered to grind them for me. My wife picked out a few chocolates as did I and we paid and left. The chocolates were outstanding! Everything we picked was really, really tasty. We are going to make sure and stop in whenever we are in the area again in the future!

Got there about 30 minutes before they closed and the girl acted like we were putting her out. She was in the middle of counting cash and looked thoroughly annoyed that we walked in. The chocolates were average. Nothing special. I've definitely had better haystacks. I was a little disappointed in them.

Five stars for the Chocolates and coffee maybe one of the best in town (stay away from the maple candy, that one isn’t flavorful). I can’t give it five stars over all because the decor is not at all inviting. Places to sit aren’t inviting at all. Not a comforting place to stay. Girlfriend and I sat at a table vs in comfortable chairs. Back of business is walled off poorly.
