Went there for date night and had a good time. It was on a Monday and pretty quite, but not dull. Our server was wonderful.
I had the BBQ chicken pizza and my wife had the shrimp and grits. We also ordered a pretzels as an appetizer and drank sweet tea.
The food was really good, but not spectacular. The pizza tasted nice and fresh...I thought it was going to be a personal size pizza, but to my delight it was a full sized portion. My wife said the shrimp and grits were good, but seemed like it was missing something. The sweet tea was pretty good, too.
We both said we'd come again. We forgot to ask about a military discount, before she ran our card, but our server gave us a dessert to go to make up for it!!
Nice place, nice atmosphere, and good food.

We received courteous and prompt service when we arrived. Food was ready quickly. Oysters were supposed to be topped with bacon? There was no bacon and also the oysters were terribly greasy. The wings we asked to be extra crispy we found several to be undercooked. The French onion soup was flavorless. We did ask our undercooked chicken wings to not be charged to our bill and management refused which was disappointing but we paid knowing they'll never get our business again nor any of our families.

A pleasant-enough bar and grill. While the service was stellar, the food was “meh.” Their chicken quesadilla was, indeed, juicy chicken, but did not have very much cheese on it. And it came without sour cream or guacamole, which in my book is a mistake! The quesadilla had plenty of chicken, but, while certainly juicy, didn’t have any “fire” or spice to it. The chips and queso were okay, although the chips had a variation of consistency that made it appear to be old and new chips. We may come back again and try some of their other food, but this first trip doesn’t give us a lot of hope for the future.

As usual the experience was very good. I had the crawfish fettuccine and thought this would be two whole meals. But it was so delicious it turned into 1.5 meals. Service was good but a little slow, but they were really busy and seemed a little short staffed. Those girls were hustling. Will return.

I've been a fan of RBT for about 6 years, but this visit changed that view. We arrive around 6 for a leisurely dinner with friends before the show at the Crighton. Our first disappointment was that they changed the menu to remove a couple of their signature dishes...the steak and the pork chops. I had the meatloaf, which was very good, but my wife had the chicken sandwich, which was almost inedible...tough as shoe leather. We were finishing up the main course when the server started removing our dishes...before O had a chance to finish up on the tasty collard greens. Then, the server brought the check without asking or offering dessert. When we questioned about the availability of dessert, the server had the audacity to say that we could have dessert, but there was quite a line of customers and they needed our table! She basically asked us to leave, abruptly ending our leisurely dinner unsatisfied. Definitely not the impression you want to make to anyone you want to come back to your restaurant. We are loyal local Conroe folks, but will definitely think twice!
