Qdoba Mexican Grill

I visited the Columbus IN store last night (2/22/22) about 18:45. I noticed the chairs were on top of the tables as I walked to the door. I checked the hours to confirm they were open. There was no sign posted (that I recall seeing) that the dining room was closed. I placed my order and inquired if I could eat in the dining room. The young man informed me, no it’s closed, but we can offer you a large fountain drink. Thanks but no thanks. It appeared the dining room was cleaned for the night, two hours before the posted closing time.

I have waited 1 month to do this review because I wanted to make sure that I was in the best state of mind to write this review. I walked out of this Qdoba seething in anger that day. I visited to get a burrito that day and noticed the individual doing the burrito for me had "shorted" me on ingredients previously. He had just made a burrito for someone else {online order) and I saw that it was about 1/2 the normal size given. As he progressed in making mine, I was having to say "more" with every ingredient I was requesting. When finished, I stated at the cashier's station that the individual was trying to short me, had done it before and had just done it to another customer. At which point the girl (maybe manager) threw my burrito in the trash and said they wouldn't serve me. I again stated they needed to do something about the " shorting" employee. (I was going there 1-2x/week at that time). A gentlemen from the back came out and said that I needed to leave or I "would be leaving in handcuffs". When I reached the exit door, the same man yelled through restaurant that the employee in question was autistic. I do not think that because an employee is disabled he should be able to get away with providing improper quantities to customers. I haven't been back since.

One star is too generous. The employees have no care in the world, or respect for customers. When your job is customer service, but they don't show an ounce of it. I get there before they open and wait in my car. At 1030 which is posted hours on the front door and the web, the doors were still locked. About 1032 I see a man sitting in the dining area and what looks like the manager who looked at me as I'm standing there staring waiting for the door to open. She continues to set down the chairs off the tables and slowly makes her way to the door about 1035. Ok no biggie you want to open late. That's fine. So I walk in to order. The man that was sitting in the dining area was an employee who wasn't ready. Putting on his apron, just taking his time. Ok sure, do what you gotta do. No body had on a name tag so I couldn't tell you who they are I could tell you what they look like. The lady I assume is the manager is a short blonde gal and the man was tall with brown hair. Anyway, I am waiting to order and I notice there were some empty slots where food normally is, so some of their options weren't available and the chicken was charred on some sides of it. Which sucks because I always get their chicken protein bowl and I absolutely love it. So I opted for pork this time which was very good by the way. However I will not be going back and I strongly recommend nobody else to go either. Reason being when I was putting in my order the man was very rudely sarcastic about the whole situation. I did what I could to stay calm and continue using my manners like "may I" and "please". I believe if you want respect you have to give it, and dealing with those two employees showed me they could use a lesson or two about that. So my visit was less then pleasent. Hopefully Chipotle employees are much better mannered and have customer service skills. I'll definitely be going there from now on.
