Country Barbecue

First time here. Would pass by frequently and see it was packed, which it was again today..30 min wait but ended up sitting at the bar. Had a smoked turkey sandwich, side of fries, 2 waters and a conglomeration platter..$25. Definitely can't complain about the prices but the food was okay, one and done is good for me. Smoked turkey was good, fries were cold but when I let the waitress know she did bring me hot ones, so that was good. The cornbread on the platter was cold and hard, the sweet potato as you see is huge and was good with the side of cinnamon provided. The platter had beef, chopped pork and ribs... nothing special...the three barbecue sauces weren't super special either and all were thin and watery, personally I like a thicker sauce. I do like the huge cups they give for drinks! Also, to me being from the South, if your a barbecue joint, I absolutely need to see Mac n cheese as a side option but I was disappointed when I noticed that it wasn't..again personal opinion.

I really should review this as a "0" stars. When my son and I ordered fried pickles they came out totally fried dry and then sent them back only to relieve a new order that was fresh but had a curly "Q" pube hair wrapped in one of the fried pickle batter. When we walked out my son told me that a few guys from the kitchen walked to our table and started laughing. I will never eat here again!

I Ordered a small Pork Chef Salad almost All the meat on it was fat . When you order a salad you expect lean cuts of the meat. My husband lived in Columbus for 15 years and bragged on this establishment and needless to say I’m not impressed. From not being greeted when we entered the door to the poor quality of food. Southern food should be served with Southern Hospitality as well ….

I am so surprised I have not previously reviewed this place. First off Columbus is my hometown and country‘s barbecue is one of the most popular barbecue places in our hometown. My favorite thing to order from country‘s barbecue is the smoked turkey and dressing plate that is offered on Fridays. The sweet tea is perfect and delicious as well as the banana pudding. I have had their sandwiches and pretty much a lot of stuff on the menu. You cannot go wrong this is a great place

Great service. Had the beef brisket and snoop bbq sauce. Very good! Corn bread was dry and flavorless. Coleslaw also dry and little flavor. Fries were soggy and warm. Wife had pot roast special and she was very happy but same complaint about corn bread. That said, it was strong enough for us to go again.

If I could give negative reviews for their curbside and online ordering fulfillment I would. If I could give negative reviews for how management handles being 30 minutes late on your order that you scheduled giving them an hour and 10 minutes to get your order ready I would. When you see people coming through the line to place orders and they're getting in and out of there practically immediately and then fed you the reasoning that they can't fulfill orders quick enough it stands to reason that they should not be doing curbside pickup with any time goal in mind. This so-called manager just smiled at me and told me they can't guarantee their food for the time they tell you they will. If you go in to eat you hardly have to wait at all. But if you schedule a pickup be prepared to give it at least 30 more minutes. Because they will smile when they hear you are inconvenienced. I have never had a problem with this restaurant but I have never used their curbside service. I won't do that again. And considering my experience with their management I doubt I Grace The Establishment again.
