If I could give this place more stars I would! The food was great and tasted like home cooking! I loved every bite while watching the lady in the kitchen cook all the meals with love. High recommend

Excellent Service and Great Food. I've visited Jimmy V's on numerous occasions over the past few years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent for the price and the service is nothing short of exceptional. Walter and the staff are very friendly.
I would highly recommend the Philly Chicken sandwich, the hamburgers, and the pan-seared Calamari. Great fries too!
Awesome!. I absolutely love this place! Great ambiance, amazing food. Killer happy hours, you honestly can't beat the price in the village. Definately worth checking out. A++++++

Out of frustration and disappointment I share this review of a recent experience. My husband and i decided to meet here for lunch with our 2 young daughters. It was steady, he arrived 1st and was seated and told our waitress we would be following shortly. Parking can be tricky, so he was at the table around 5 minutes while I was parking. Once we were settled we waited 20 minutes frequently trying to get the waitresses' attention with no avail. We decided to leave at this point as the kiddos were quite restless...We did mention this situation while walking out to a server we have had often before who always appears attentive and hardworking. Unfortunately, it appeared only 2 servers were on the floor, and we were missed. I hope it is an isolated incident, as my husband frequents this location often on his lunch break. The owner is gracious and often visits patrons tables if he is in house and able. The food is very good,fresh, and generously portioned. I believe we will give jimmy V's another chance, but may consider other "local" options in the area first if going as a family.
Surprisingly good food. Just walking around in the German Village I was looking for a place to eat that wasn't packed and came across this place. I looked at the menu and didn't really see anything eye catching but I didn't feel like leaving either so I ordered the cajun linguine and I have to say for a bar, it was pretty darn good. Perfectly cooked, great flavor I was really impressed. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were all set so it was a pretty good experience for me. From what I saw it also looked like a cool place to get a few drinks with friends, keep it low key, watch some football. I'd def come back.
Favorite local bar. I love Jimmy V's in German Village, as do many of my friends, because the staff is friendly, the food is great, the music is always good but not so loud you can't have a conversation, and because Valter (owner) makes us feel so welcome I recently threw a birthday party on the back patio (which is beautiful) and Valter could not have been more wonderful or accommodating. The staff serving us that night were also great. This is a great place for dinner or just to meet friends for drinks.
Favorite foods: spicy turkey gyro, paninis, hummus...great cocktails and beer list too!
The best lunch spot. Friendly bartenders, the chef is really cool. Fries are stellar. Try the southwest panini.
I took too long to walk over to Jimmy V's and I was beaten to the press by Columbus Alive . But they dropped the ball by not discussing vegetarian dining options at the Brewery District enclave, so I can at least add something to the discussion. Jimmy V's
Really awesome bar and awesome staff. The gentlemen behind the bar was really cool and was down to make random experimental drinks for me. I should of wrote his name down (Ash maybe?). He made that experience a lot of fun, and I look forward to my next visit.
Foodwise - Not a fan of the Lobster Mac and Cheese. I ended up leaving more than half of it behind and opting for the Philly Egg Rolls. Those things were fire! Served with some A1/Ranch sauce combo that nailed the taste spectrum.
All in all, great experience!

Wow is all I got to say! Food was amazing. Whatever they put on this salmon dish is incredible, not to mention the sauce that comes on the side. So good. I’d put it up against any 5 star seafood restaurants salmon dish, any day of the week. Food prices are more than fair, especially for the amount of food you get. The service was great, Ambience was awesome. Super chill with good music. First time playing R&B bingo and had a great time. Will definitely be back!
The #Wife and I took my Mother-in-Law out for casual #dinner last week to @doubletakebarandgrill . It was Wednesday a little after work, but they weren’t very busy at all. Since Momma doesn’t hear great we sat at a table away from the bar. Everyone else was at the bar. They have plenty of TV’s, I’d like to come back for a game. I had the #blackened #salmon #pasta. Gotta say, it was some of the best #alfredo I’ve had out! It was seasoning the way we make it at home. Needed nothing extra. The salmon was juicy and delicious. Our servers were nice, but not very attentive this night. Probably lost out on a couple more drink sales. A heads UP!! They automatically add a gratuity regardless of party size.

My most 2 favorite bartenders here are Paige and Big Day they are always greeting customers with a smile and no matter what they are doing they take time to talk to customers and get to know them! The staff here treat their customers as if they are family and not customers! Loving ,and friendly atmosphere
Stopped in to check out their food and everything tasted great! Ordered a chef salad, Rasta pasta and turkey ribs. Also tried the Philly rolls for an appetizer and I can honestly say they were my favorite. I didn’t like the greens, they were mushy and slimy but the waiter was kind enough to remove them from the order. All and all I would definitely recommend them and eat here again!
I normally don't leave reviews but you definitely deserve one! We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to eat lunch that was close to our hotel. Found the Double Take Bar & Grill and decided to give it a try. When we arrived we were seated right away and found out they had a limited menu due to it being a Sunday. I was disappointed and really did not have high expectations with the limited menu. We ordered some boneless wings and a few other appetizers as our side. Everything was amazing! The sauce (we did a honey BBQ I believe) and the chicken were the best I've had. The sides we had were just as good. Service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely eat here again if we come back to Columbus.
This place right here is the bomb! I’ve come here for brunch, taco Tuesday, & dinner several times. The food here is really good. The wings are one of my favorite items, but this catfish po’boy (brunch menu) is it!! I wish they served it on their regular menu. Oh and you gotta try the chicken biscuits which are also on their brunch menu, soooo good! The servers are really nice despite being understaffed at times. The only 2 things I dislike about Double Take is they only have plastic silverware (😩) and the music can be too loud at times making it hard to talk to the people at your own table. Still would highly recommend!
