Review Panera Bread - Columbus

This place has one of the most relaxing atmospheres around. The booths are really comfortable. The staff here couldn't be more friendly and kind. The food is absolutely delicious! I had got the steak and white cheddar sandwich and it was outstanding. You can taste the fresh ingredients and the bread......the bread is crispy on the out side while the inside is hot and aerie. You can't go wrong with getting one of there many pastries. Not to mention, they also serve both Coke and Pepsi products. I will definitely be returning for more.

My favorite place for French onion soup. So good and always a clean place. Order via a tablet stand.

first time me and my wife dine at this establishment and we truly enjoyed the food! The menu is so contemporary; love the variety of Sandwich choices and their side particularly the soups are delicious....freshness seems to be their priority.......we have eaten here several times before this posting and they all have been really good...the only area that needs some attention is the sanitation. The store located on Macon Road was very clean and well stocked (Beverage Counter). However the one located off Whittlesey Road was not; drink station, floors, tables & chairs were not clean and the entire dining area was in disarray. From where me and my wife was sitting you can see underneath the beverage counter and it looked as if it had not been swept or mopped in quite a while.....all in all good food and good service.

I stopped eating because it was just not worth the calories but might as well share what the flatbread looks like....not very good.

I order pick-up pretty often, and I have never had a bad experience here. I have notably crossed paths with an employee named Clarence (I think) who is always quick to drop off orders and make sure they’re correct before getting them to the car. I would recommend this Panera 100% of the time!

Went through the drive through this morning for a bagel and asked for a pup cup. The manager said the don’t do that anymore… NO BIG DEAL. Then she proceeded to tell me that if i buy a latte i can have have a pup cup with the whip cream. So ok I ordered a latte that i did not want. Got to the window. Took the lady 10 minutes to open the window MY LATTE AND BAGEL WERE COLD. She handed me pup cup with (i kid you not) a quarter sized squirt for my dog. Was rude to me and proceeded to tell me that the pup cup was a ONE TIME COURTESY! You made me pay for a cold latte for this!! A latte that i did not want! This Panera used to be nice years ago. I will not be back. Shame one the manager!!

Very noisy, yes I know it's a restaurant, what did I expect. I did not order anything to eat, just a drink. My friend ordered a sandwich, the bread was so tuff she ended up having to cut up her sandwich and use a fork. I never cared for sour dough bread. The service people were very polite. The restaurant was very clean. The issue with my friend's sandwich, is the reason for four stars.

Very disappointed!! Brown lettuce and watery chicken wild rice soup!! Never again!!

Not what it used to be. Both our soups tasted like they were poured straight from the can and on top of that, you get about a 1 cup serving in a 4 cup bowl. Really deceiving! Now for the paninis, the Steak and white cheddar cost almost $6 for a half and it was skimpy to say the least! Barely ant meat and the horseradish wasn't even spread out...just one heaping spoonful toward the edge of the sandwich. My chicken advocado was just a weird combination. The place was crowded and I just don't get the hype. We didn't even finish our meals. The garbage was more deserving of it. Sorry but honest review.

I'm on a low carb diet. Tonight I was at Panera trying to find something for dinner. I asked the cashier. She got the manager. They pulled out their nutrition book and flipped through it with me looking at the carb count on each of their entrees. We finally found that the Greek Salad was their lowest carb entree. The cashier spent at least five minutes helping me. They went above and beyond. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate their help.

So I have gone to Panera pretty consistently for the past three years. With the recent move across town it has not been my daily morning stop.....so today I decided that Panera sounded good so I would drive across town to go get a sandwich. So I did a mobile app order for rapid pick up just as I always have done. Your app promises the order will be ready in five minutes after pick up. My order is always ready within five minutes after pick up. So today I ordered a simple breakfast sandwich. Keep in mind that has no protein on it. As well as a bagel. So I walk in about six minutes later. And a very friendly guy by the name of Graham asked me if I was waiting on mobile order. I replied yes. He then went around the corner to check on it. To which the lady responded tell her it will be another 10 minutes. And he says is that OK to me. I replied and told him no I can’t wait 10 minutes. I had to get to work. And I asked him how I can cancel it. The lady around the corner begin saying it’s going to be 15 minutes it takes 15 minutes before we even get these and then another 10 minutes to make it. Complaining so loud. With no care that I can hear her. So I responded to Graham and said well your app says it’s in five minutes. And it’s a simple sandwich how does it take that long. And he replied well we’re really backed up and we have other orders we have to do. And I said well if I go through the drive-through and order the same exact sandwich I’ll get it within 3 to 4 minutes in the drive-through. You’re not gonna make me wait then. So why do I have to wait when I order one sandwich and a bagel on rapid pick up. That promises five minutes. And then the same lady comes around the corner hand me the bag rudely and said again it takes 15 minutes and walks away from me. (I was told her name is Miss Vonda ??? ) This is what I got on my first day back at Panera in over three or four months. That is not how you treat customers. That is not how you treat your fellow employees either. you don’t tell someone it’s going to take 15 to 25 minutes to make a simple sandwich. When the app promises five minutes and also I could’ve gone through the drive-through and easily gotten the same sandwich in less than five minutes. I have done rapid order multiple times and never been told it’s going to take 15 to 25 minutes. This is now my second huge issue with Panera, as the last one was that rapid order always made my sandwich is wrong. The rapid order would say one thing and then when I got the sandwich it was completely different. Let’s keep in mind that that happened today as well. The terrible customer service an attitude that I received today for no apparent reason. Was absolutely uncalled for and unnecessary. I hope you have cameras in this store. I’ll never be coming back. Thanks.

Ordered a vegan lentil quinoa bowl and they gave me a chicken bowl. They said it was left over and mislabeled from the fridge. Then I had to wait on them to make the vegan bowl fresh while my family ate and it tasted horrible when I finally got it. Definitely not worth almost $9! Also they do not sell sweet tea anymore....this is a southern crime!

While Waiting in line for my sandwich, saw a girl bring her sandwich back, because there was a bug on the lettuce of her sandwich, not much concern or apologies behind the counter. And what is that awful smell right where you pick up the food????

They are VERY VERY NICE!! Their brewed coffee is shockingly good (and I’m a coffee snob), and they have gluten free options that include a to-die-for flourless chocolate cookie!!!

I'm a big fan of panera bread but I went there last night this location and ordered me a salad with my fav soup .. But after almost I finished my salad I found tiny piece of wood!!!! And I told a girl who works in kitchen or whoever handed my food and she looks at that piece of wood and said looks like a bread ! Lol yeah then she should eat it!! It's a shame that way workers react that way like I was lying or something ! I will never go back to this location !

Panera is probably one of my favorite restaurants. I'll drive across town to eat here. However, I'm not sure what is going on with this particular location. Awhile back I went to bite into my sandwich and realized they had left the wrapper on the cheese. No big deal, I took it back, they fixed me another, and I went on with my life. Then a few weeks later, I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt sandwich via the drive thru. I didn't get too far before I checked my order and discovered not one single avocado on the sandwich with avocado in the title! I was Completely bummed as I love avocados, but I went on with my life. Then today, I order the same above mentioned sandwich.... this time I go to bite into it and it's ice cold, no longer considered a melt. So please please please to whoever is managing this store, your team seriously needs to get it together before fulfilling orders. Signed, Sadly disappointed yet again....

Food was awesome!!! But workers need have less attitude specially the cashier unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was there yesterday at lunch time African American lady

I am a big Panera Bread Fan, used to go at least 3-4 times a week in Kentucky, but this location is by far the worst. Management and employees need to be replaced, they are all very unhappy. Went there yesterday, no sweet tea I had to fix it myself and my salad just had crumbled cheese on it but no dressing. It's way too expensive for poor service like this, so I will not be back for a long time .

Food excellent, service excellent, prices good. One of my favorite places to eat.

I miss the old menu. The new Italian sandwich is gross.

I have always been a fan of Panera, but the prices are getting a little ridiculous. $17 for sandwich, soup and a drink is a bit much. I hope this is the best roasted turkey sandwich I've ever had! Ijs...

Paid an exorbitant amount of money for the worst Caesar salad I've ever eaten. Fortunately my mother enjoyed her tomato soup. I don't believe I will be returning here.

The new Roasted Beet, Quinoa, Citrus salad is absolutely delicious. Now, I am ordering the full size instead of the You-Pick-2.

So I just ordered the new bacon turkey bravo sandwich...well needless to say I was less than excited to receive this. Not only was there little to no bacon, the 1 piece of bacon there was on there was GREEN!!!!! I have been a lover of Panera bread for years but think it will be a long time before I order there again. �

While I do enjoy Panera's food, no matter how many times I come and order my order is never right. I simply ask for just avocado and tomato on a sandwich and the cashier takes the order down correctly. However, it always comes back with egg and spinach and cheese on it. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. It really isn't that difficult of an order to get right. I doubt I'll return since even this order seems too difficult to process.

But it seems to be going down hill.Bread tasted old and soup was cold.
