Mcdonald's

I ordered my usual fish sandwich combo with a pineapple mango smoothie, large size. When I proceeded to tell her I wanted my fish cooked extra crispy, no cheese & light tarter, she added a extra sandwich that way. I explained that was how I wanted my sandwich prepared not a additional sandwich. So she corrected that. Then the charge was higher then I paid the last time. I asked why?...she said I ordered a specialty drink so I had to pay full price. I said a drink comes with the meal, I should only have to pay a up charge. I talked to manager at second window. He explained it correctly, in that there are 2 charges for a combo on a receipt, 1 for food and 1 for drink (usually $1.00 for fountain drinks) as it is taxed. I did only pay a up charge for smoothie which they didn't prepare a large size. The manager said she should have asked if I'd like a large drink also. Things have changed...large used to mean fries and drink, now if they don't ask, you better tell them large fries & drink. Also the food cost more because of covid. **Prices are raised every 2 months instead of every 6 months. Otherwise the food & drink was prepared to my liking. 🙂👍

Service was so fast I didn't have time to put my credit card back in my wallet before I had my food. On top of the quick service everyone was very energetic and kind. It's not ALWAYS that good of service, but I live around the corner and frequent this store. It's overall one of the best McDonald's I've been to multiple times.
