We went at 4pm on a Sunday, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, it was immaculately clean and the decor was lovely. I love a good Japanese steakhouse, and this is one of the best I've visited. This is THE best I've been to in Columbus. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

Destiny is such a great bartender. She was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks offered with the 3.99 Tequila Tuesday specials. Best idea ever. Better than Taco Tuesdays. Come see her.

I’ve been here in-person before, but most times I opt for an Uber Eats delivery when I just want the food and not a show, or to socialize. This restaurant has the BEST tasting sauces, from the Yum-Yum, Ginger, to my favorite, the “umamiest” Egg Yolk sauce. I usually go for the tasty Hibachi options, but tried the lower costing Chicken Fried Rice. It wasn’t giving the same flavor punch as the Hibachi - so will likely not try that again. Wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great. The sauces were necessary.

Ichiban is always great. We went for lunch and loved the cheaper $20 difference. Food was fresh as always, our chef was funny and looking forward to going back at a busier time to kick the atmosphere up a bit .

We had the best experience at Ichiban in this evening. Our chef was amazing. When I mentioned my shellfish allergy, he went out of his way to sanitize the grill before cooking the rice. He was super personable, friendly and the food was amazing. The restuarant was very clean, well lit and all the staff were friendly.

Sushi lunch date! Food was delicious also had salad and ordered hibachi chicken with egg yolk (didn’t get a picture) everything was good portions were a nice size.
