This is my personal favorite bar so I may be a bit biased, but I think its one of the best in Columbus. Its a bit divey, but in a historic way, and everything is very reasonably priced. My dad went here a lot in the 80s and not much has changed! There's also an original jukebox with lots of great music options. The music reaches out to the patio in front. Long live the Stube!!!

Objectively a great place. If you are looking to club, get crazy, then go somewhere else; with all due respect. However, if you want a beer or 5, and want to relax w/ some 80s music, PLEASE come here. It’s a great bar. Affordable too. Only a few months left until they tear it down. Get in while you can.

This is the only place I live near that I can get a double shot of tequila for $4. It's their well tequila obviously but I honestly like La Prima so I definitely don't mind buying the well liquor here lol 🤣

This is my favorite dive in Columbus. Old school juke box. Ted Danson at the bar. Christmas lights year round. What a magical little place. Friendly staff.

I started going there in the 80's. So many excellent memories. Do you remember Doug's Avanti? HE is a Legendary bar owner. He was nice to me because of the girls I knew there and later he liked me because I was cool. He hugged me on Christmas Day one year. TYSON GERHOLD. Who was your buddy that barfed on the jukebox that one night? I was picking songs with Him and YAAAACCCKKKK all over the glass and he went to the bar for another .CLASSIC. That place looks EXACTLY the same inside.

Ich liebe die Bier Stube! The atmosphere always has a nice vibe whether inside or outside and you never feel bored there. The bar always has a good amount of people in it without it feeling overcrowded. It will soon be your favorite go-to place with your friends for a great night!

The best bar on campus.
The drinks are tall and well-priced. The jukebox is the best (and only?) on campus. Craig, the owner, is always a pleasure and even the bouncers are great guys. The atmosphere of the Stube cannot be beat.
