Day One Pizza

I have placed orders with them for years. They overcharge for delivery and skimp on toppings, but they are the only pizza place to deliver to Fall River. Unfortunately they now won’t answer their phones. Would be nice if they took orders online but I guess they can’t afford that either. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

We love this place. The pizza is perfect every time and we like the breadsticks and cinnamon sticks so much that sometimes we order just those for pickup when we're having pasta or frozen pizzas for dinner. Pro tip: the cinnamon sticks are great reheated for breakfast the next morning. Pandemic note: this place takes the pandemic seriously and they do a great job of maintaining safety, pay over the phone and pick up at the counter without ever getting close to anyone. The dining room is closed for now but this is really a takeout/delivery kind of place anyway. The only downside is there is no online ordering and sometimes we have to call two or three times to get through on a busy night.

Pizza and bread appetizers are decent. I've yet to try the salad due to the fact that the chicken isn't very good. They seem to lack any kind of customer service on their phones. It's not that they're rude, but they lack a presence and fail to develop rapport. As an example, I placed an order for a pizza and the gentleman on the phone went silent and then asked me if I was still there. He didn't confirm the order and was waiting for me to direct the conversation. Additionally, every time I order for delivery they move to get off the call and I have to interrupt them to request to pay by card. Good service would warrant them asking how one will be paying for the order (e.g. "and will that be cash or card today"?). A please and thank you would go a long way too. This is so off putting that I'd gladly order from another business for delivery if they had any competition in Columbus.
