My friend who lives nearby always rants and raves about this place so we went there. Placed our orders and it took about 15 minutes of waiting to get our food which was pretty ridiculous considering we were the only customers in the store, and at least 2 employees were working in the kitchen. I ordered the breakfast burrito and added bacon. Price was fair. Friend ordered a bagel, which they were out of multiple kinds (eye roll). We ordered it to go, and get back to their apartment and I take my first bite and was immediately disappointed. There was almost no flavor to my breakfast burrito and it was probably because they completely forgot the salsa that it was supposed to have. Almost $7 for a bland burrito. So sad. Maybe the employees should learn what their meals are supposed to include. Owner should at least be proud that his employes were very friendly and polite while we were there.

I got the brisket sandwich and fires. The brisket itself was really good, but the bread was like a 99 cent loaf you would buy at the grocery store. It would be similar to putting ketchup on a steak. I wouldn't mind paying .50 or .75 for a sesame seed bun or some other type of quality bread. I think it would have even been good if the brisket wasn't on anything and was served with a dinner roll or something. I saw someone else with a breakfast plate and that looked like a good portion and well made, so I might come back to try something for breakfast, but most likely wont try another sandwich. The fries weren't bad, but they weren't anything special either.

Decent food. Decent price. Low rating based on how dirty it was. The bathroom was disgusting. I've used many a gas station toilet in my time, and the level of filth topped them all. There were empty rolls of toilet paper strewn across the room. The sink had a cesspool-like leak beneath it that was starting to grow ooze. And the urinal could not have been cleaned this month. One of the employees who used the bathroom right before I did, couldn't even be bothered to pick trash up off the floor. It was unsanitary. Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like.

Want to preface this by saying I really want to love this place. The staff is always super friendly, but my experience today was extremely sub par.
I usually get the bagel sandwich on everything with sausage cheese and egg. Today they were out of everything, which seems to almost always be the case, and it was only about 9am when I got there. So I settled for an onion instead. The onion bagel was fairly burnt and most of the crust on top was charred and black. The egg was spilling out of the sandwich, so already not a good start. I was hungry so I just took away the top of the bagel and most of the egg to try and make the best of it, but sadly it got worse. About half way through my sandwich there was a giant 6 inch hair that I bit into and at that point I just had to throw the whole thing away. It sucks but I don't think I will be back for a while.

OMG! Spinellis Deli served me the best burger I have had in a long time. You can really taste that it's fresh and not a frozen patty. The two new workers were really nice and showed me and my wife great Hospitality service. Spinellis Deli has really changed since the last time I been there I love the new menu as well and I WILL BE BACK!

Updated February 2017. I was unhappy with the changes initially made by the new owner. However, after some time away I returned to find some better decor, nicer staff, and some menu changes. Unfortunately the new menu items aren't very good and they are cutting costs by using cheaper ingredients and cutting their hours of operation. What used to be quality food with solid ingredients is now recipes that make no sense (a breakfast scramble with hamburger and chili? Really guys? This isn't a truck stop.). They should have stuck with the high quality food that used to be a staple. That would ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction and not force a cutback in costs where quality and customer service are sacrificed.

Ordered through grubhub. The lox had dark brown spots and smelled terrible. The hash browns were very undercooked and just tasted of grease. Everything overall was just super disappointing. Tried to get a refund and they refused and treated us like we were just being too picky when the food was terrible. Still hungry because we're not eating it. 0/5 would not recommend. Bad food, bad customer support

Ohhh what happened to the deli I used to love, the one with delicious food and authenticity. Whatever happened today was a frozen food fiasco. My husband and another customer ordered buffalo chicken hash and when they questioned the mystery meat, that was not chicken, first they were yelled at and finally she admitted it was sausage but that she could throw chicken in it.
We watched people stomp out, return food, beg for a bag of bagels.
