J. Gumbo's

I have had J.Gumbos at another location in a different city so when I walked in to this location I had expectations...they were not met. First off I found the service to be very rude. Then I ordered the Zydeco chicken and bumble bee stew. My boyfriend also ordered the Zydeco chicken and we were charged for 3 entrees instead of the 1 dollar up charge for getting the two mixed we finally get that taken care of and we start to eat our un-toasted and un-buttered stale bread, and our very much not chicken chicken zydeco. It was zydeco sauce but the meat was not chicken. I think it was beef. Chicken is white and tender and this was dark meat and tough and a different kind of stingy than shredded chicken is supposed to be . Not to mention the serving size was minuscule I was absolutely appalled. I understand that there will be differences in the locations but nothing as extreme as this. I would have to think long and hard before I returned to this J.Gumbo's location.
