Tropico Caribbean Grill

Hands down this is my favorite spot for authentic Dominican beans and rice which deserves 10 stars to me! However, i went twice to try the pepper steak and empanadas and they were not available, very disappointing. I finally got to try the pepper steak (3rd times a charm!) it it was delish! Still hoping to try the empanadas soon since I feel I won’t be disappointed.

😍I Love her over there ! She comes with the biggest portions and tasty foods. Make sure you tip her if you can as I do to show her appreciation 😀 spicy rice, jerk or bourbon chicken with the cabbage or sweet potatoes. Yes mam I will. Fresh juices and delicious treats can be found there to. I want more after typing this up dang

DO NOT LET THE LOCATION FOOL YOU! This place is BOMB! A few of my boys and I went, and the lady (Mom) was so nice. I asked to try the Jerk Chicken, instead she gave me a little bit of everything AND the jerk Chicken without even asking. It made me regret buying food from Mark Pi's. Everything they got is homemade, and so good. They treated us like family, and I will definitely be going back!

Tucked away in the food court in Eastland Mall is a hidden gem. The chef and owner is from the Dominican Republic and brings the authentic flavors of her homeland right here to Columbus Ohio. The chef/owner is very personable and loves to talk to foodies who come seeking her cuisine. It can be overwhelming at first when you want to try a new cuisine but don't even know where to start. However, the chef is more than happy to help you find what you want and even offers small samples. I would encourage anyone who is interested in trying Dominican food to check this place out...you'll be glad you did. I love the roast chicken with spicy green beans.

This restaurant here honey is absolutely amazing! I go here all the time. The foods always good and fresh. If you haven’t been here I think you should check it out. The lady who runs it is soooooo sweet. She just talks so sweet and kind to me every time I come in. So much love in the place. She remembers faces and what you like to order lol. I wish she had coupons. It can be a little pricey to me sometimes.

Very good food and friendly service. I just so happen to stumble across this place by accident... I was out in Columbus and had the taste for some Spanish food so I looked on the app Yelp for some suggestions seeing as though I'm not familiar with the area and after scrolling through a few options I chose this place and let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. It's located inside a mall in the food court area and there's not much going on in the mall because from the looks of it it looks as though most of the mall is shut down but I didn't go there to shop... I found the spot and started looking at what I wanted to eat, the lady began to offer me samples so I could make an informative decision. Needless to say the decision was hard, all of it tasted good but I finally narrowed it down and was able to sit and enjoy. Go and check it out, your stomach will thank you.
