I wanted to surprise my colleagues with the famous fox in the snow cinnamon rolls. We had been talking about them for a few months. So I got up early and ordered six of them for my colleagues. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast. When you walked in the restaurant definitely had a cozy fill to it . I ordered my self the egg and bacon sandwich which is always phenomenal. I always looking forward to going back to fox in the snow. One of my favorite places to eat at in town.
Very tasty, this eatery lives up to the hype. I recommend the Breakfast egg & bacon sandwich and the Strawberry Diamond pastry. The cream is more of a tasty custard and feels very light. Recommend coming early or ordering ahead of time for pickup, we got there 5 min before opening on a Saturday and there was already a line. They get you through fast, but something to be aware of.
I love their fox logo and concept! First time visiting and I will be happy to come back. The staff is friendly and they are ready to give you good suggestions. My coffee was awesome (black, pour-over). I had an egg sandwich, the bread was great, the cheese not so much but they compensate it with the rest of the ingredients. The place is pretty nice and you can seat inside (it gets busy during the morning) our outside in a small patio area.
I got a chia late. It was spiced and flavorful! The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. The people were very friendly. Sitting at the bar table, I could see people making food through big windows, which was fun. Really cool place! The only issue was that parking was a bit difficult, but that's the city for ya.
We ran by Fox in the Snow for coffee on our way out of Columbus. A friend said we had to try it while in town and recommended the breakfast sandwich, but we had brunch plans somewhere else, so we grabbed a few pastries to take with us instead. I have to say, the lattes we got were the best lattes we have ever had! They don't do basic-white-girl flavors so don't expect pumpkin spice or lavender syrup options, this place means business, and we were glad for it because it was fantastic coffee, they did it justice. The pastries, thought hey looked beautiful, were unfortunately just okay flavor/texture-wise (I'm a pastry chef). I've definitely had better. I really wish we had a chance to try the breakfast sandwich, so we will definitely try that next time we're in Columbus. The atmosphere was top notch, beautiful space. One other con was it got VERY crowded right after we arrived, so be prepared for a line (though it's worth the wait).
I think this is the best coffee and pastry shop in the city! All pastries are so tasty (dough is really good, like in the best pastries in Europe). And the overall atmosphere… a lot of light. Very stylish! Definitely worth visiting.
However, on weekends it’s really crowded there, be prepared to wait. But definitely worth it 🫶🏻
Actually, I’m curious who is the owner? Is he Native American or come from swh
If you have to pick one place to eat breakfast in all of Columbus, this should be it. I had heard great things about the food here and it did not disappoint. We were here on a Friday late morning in August and the place was still mobbed. There were people sitting inside and outside, literally people everywhere.
However, despite the crush of people, the staff were friendly and pleasant. And I loved the vibe of the place! If not for the continuing ebb and flow and wanting to free up a table for another party, I could have stayed here for awhile.
Other notes: Pitchers of water on every table- amazing! And the bathrooms were ridiculously clean, considering how many people were in and out of the cafe.
Now, at last, the food. Oh. My. Goodness.
The iced Chai was good as expected. The hubby and I each ordered on pastry and then the same breakfast sandwich (souffled egg). He loved the cinnamon roll, but was not a huge fan of the cream cheese frosting, prefers traditional icing (I loved it and ate some of the frosting by itself). My strawberry diamond was fantastic - recommend trying this for yourself; tender and flaky pastry with strawberry filling.
Finally, the sandwiches! The picture doesn't even do it justice. This is a must-order item! Improbably, it all works: A square of light and fluffy souffled egg, Swiss cheese, candied bacon, arugula, and Dijon mustard all on a ciabatta roll. I love breakfast sandwiches and this one, unexpectedly, was one of the best I have had.
If you are in Columbus, I highly recommend a visit here.
Excellent!!! Even if there is a line, worth the wait! It was recommended by a friend, and I recommend Fox in the Snow as well! Try the souffle egg sandwich, delightful!!! Met some nice people there as well. Can't wait to go back to Columbus to eat there again.
The breakfast sandwiches and coffee were really good! The pastry we got was eh, probably because we got there around 11A. The biscuit was stale and flavorless. I would recommend getting there early for the most fresh and yummy bakery items.
The absolute best definition of the perfect cafe🫶🏻 pastries never miss! Coffee is soooo good and scratches the caffeine need perfectly. Staff is amazing and never feels like they are rushing your experience even when the line is out the door! Blueberry galette is a must! But so is the breakfast sandwich, ham and cheese croissant and strawberry danish ( you basically can’t go wrong with what you get). And come on the logo!!! Adorable!!! Make sure buy a sticker, they are right by the register when you are placing your order;)
