The Pit Bbq Grille

Really good ribs! Tender, smokey and the sauce isn't super strong but it tastes very tomato like and sweet. Wish the coleslaw was a lot colder but great flavor on it and the yams and fries too. Pleasant, helpful staff! Quiet eating area, but not busy (went at 2 pm) a little high on the cost but they had cheaper options!

First time trying the pit. Service was fast and great. The young lady at the front counter was so warm and helpful. I truly appreciated that. Maria brought us out our food and was so kind. Food came out fast and it was hot. I had the chicken Philly combo with fries. It was delicious!! Very cheesy and gooey and full of meat .fries tasted fresh. The sweet tea was just brewed and amazing!!! Love when people make sweet tea right! Music was real nice too. Would def recommend .

I’m giving them 4 stars just because the pulled pork was so delicious. The food took a little while but it was hot. The bathroom was fairly decent. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the decor. It’s dark and both front and back doors were open. It was warm inside and full of flies. The floors were sticky and the smell from the kitchen lingered. My only gripe about the pulled pork sandwich is the bun. Too much butter but the meat was great and so were the baked beans. I was going to give 3 stars but the food alone gave you an extra point.

The food was decent. I will be going back. The moment y’all raise y’all prices or change ANYTHING this Review will be deleted/edited to one star and I will not come back. It’s no family affair out east but I will say this their portion sizes are good. We need more places like this up north. Their yams were watery looking but sweet to the taste.

I've been here a few times now, first time I got the pulled pork sandwhich second time I got the rib tips and lastly I order catering for a work party. I have yet to be disappointed. The staff was very thoughtful and helpful with the catering order, supplying everything need--even serving utensils. Food was great all of my coworkers enjoyed the food! No complaints at all.

These guys made me love ribs again. City BBQ killed it for me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their ribs - the sauce is to die for (I.e. Licking fingers is advised). Their Mac-n-Cheese is on point. The greens taste like their grandmothers were in the back kitchen. Yams were also good. Oh my oh my - Sweet Tea must be directly from Georgia or Mississippi (slamming). My practice is to go there after church and whenever I want to take someone for lunch and expose them to a new place. You gotta try it out at least once. The food speaks for itself.
