Worth waking up early for!. My dad loves this place and when I lived in Ohio, I'd have to get up early to go with him (before he'd go to work)..anyways! This place is adorable, I love the decor..and the food is great.
Great food and service. It's located in a part of town that lacks many dining options so it's a nice stop on the south side of Columbus.

$5.99 Dinner Specials (February 2010). Stopped by Dan's Drive In last night (February 18, 2010) and couldn't believe the dinner specials. My friend had a chopped steak covered in cooked onions that came with mashed potatoes (with gravy) and corn on the side. And then a piece of chocolate cake (think they called it Fantasy Fudge Cake). It was all very basic simple food. Reasonable portions (not the huge portions so many restaurants have that feed you and your lunch the next day). The dinner didn't include a drink but the whole dinner plus the dessert was just $5.99! Wow! There were 4 or 5 'specials' that night. One was a Grilled Ham & Cheese sandwich with soup (I think tomato). Like I said, nothing fancy or overwhelming but decent food for a decent price.

This place is amazing! The food is always a 10, Service a 10, atmosphere a 10! I mean heck, they serve breakfast in the mornings, and then Mexican food the rest of the day!
I mean, if you want a quick bite to eat with quality food and service literally any meal of the day seven days a week you can pop in here and get a great meal for an affordable price with sooooo many choices!!! Highly recommend! And they do take out as well! Oh yes I am coming back!
Great Mexican food and breakfast served all day! Gravy and biscuits, eggs, hash browns and bacon was only $7.99.

Man this place is like going back into time when the food was delicious, great priced and amazing customer service! I wish I could remember the name of the waitress but I’ll never forget her beautiful smile! 😊 highly recommended if you like good ol’ fashioned cheese burgers and brunch the way grandma used to make it!
Classic, unpretentious diner with excellent service and large menu of food you would expect. We ordered chicken & waffles and a skillet hash of some sort. The hash was quite good, while the chicken & waffles was a bit under-seasoned. I would pass on the coffee if you can. It tasted like rubber. Service was very friendly and attentive. I will be going back next time I need my diner fix.

The food they brought me was absolutely amazing. The flavor was outstanding, and the portions were hearty. And, it was quite affordable.
I was so full when I left, I was nearly in a trance. This was at lunch time! I can't wait to go back for dinner.
The waiter was great, and everyone there seemed to love their food. Every table went nearly silent once the food arrived.
Old school style dinner with a retro look. Prices were extremely reasonable and had all sorts of classic favorites. The service we received from the young lady was fantastic, and the food came out extremely quick. We all enjoyed what we had! Thanks guys.
Friendly & quick service. We were seated immediately and happy to see the numerous options available to pick from. We visited on a Sunday a little before noon and were pleasantly surprised how there was no waiting for a table and no wait with the food to our table. The food was decent. I was a little disappointed with what I ordered (sausage, biscuits, & gravy) but it was still a great meal all-in-all.
