We make the drive from Westerville to Clintonville frequently just to get a good cup of coffee at Crimson Cup. Friendly baristas, EXCELLENT coffee, and plenty of room to sit and relax.
Crimson Cup is a local entity and the only coffee shop I frequent....a few times a week at the least!
Their coffees and teas are all freshly brewed to my taste, they have a cozy and comfy inside to lounge about in or a nice patio for summer and they allow doggies - a double for me. They also keep dog treats on hand for the drive through so my Janey loves when we go.
Friendly people who know their product and their customers. Try them!
Friendly staff- stopped in because they are on the Experience Cbus coffee trail- I will be back because of the staff, coffee and atmosphere!
They have a similar set up to the big name Seattle company- but that is where the similarities end.
The coffee is fresh and delicious, not pretentious and the staff doesn't make you use words that don't mean what they use them for!!
The atmosphere is chill and even though it's a massively hot day today or felt cool inside.

Excellent coffee! We stopped here because our go-to coffee shop uses Crimson Cup coffee. This location was crazy busy. We had a difficult time finding a place to park and a table. The queue to pick up your coffee once you ordered was a little tricky to figure out; they simply announced what the drink is, and the noise level makes it difficult to hear if you are not nearby. The gluten-free donuts were yummy. They did have several flavors of their coffee beans for sale; and we chose a couple that we haven't tried yet. Not sure if we will stop again, but it was worth experiencing once.
Finally found a cafe that does not close at 5pm!!! Great atmosphere and really good coffee. Someday they should extend their hours and have life acoustic guitar music. That would be awesome.
Crimson Cup is great. Staff are super friendly. Stopping here was a pretty consistent part of my daily routine when I used to commute downtown. My go to is a Crimson Cup Mocha, which is amazing!
The quality of what I get varies wildly though. Some days, the CCM is sweet, or might even have whipped cream on the top. Some days, it’s kinda sweet. Or, like today, it was very bitter and not all that good. If I could rely on getting the same quality drink every time, I’d be here a lot more!
My first time coming here and I thought it was a great place to do work. When it gets busy, it does get a bit loud and cramped. There's not many tables, nor big tables for groups. There's free WiFi and plenty of parking! Staff was very friendly and I loved their selection of drinks.
I got the large Matcha Latte and absolutely loved it ~$4.25. I didn't like the chairs and tables much, just because they got uncomfortable after a bit. There are couches, but I couldn't do work while sitting in one. This place is good to work alone, but not great for a bigger group. I love the natural lighting and the outside patio seating. There's also a food truck out front!
I recommend this place for a calm environment, place to work, and good drinks.
Not only does Crimson Cup have a diverse menu full of delectable drinks, but the service here makes this Crimson Cup location stand out from all other Columbus coffee shops! The staff is always friendly, approachable, and chatty. The drive-thru is also a convenient features that allows me to visit when I have my dog with me, and he approves of their pup cups ;)
A nice place to go for some coffee and/or to chill! Like I've been doing lately, I stopped in, grabbed an espresso and did some work on my laptop. Plenty of space to do so, internet provided by the shop, and cozy atmosphere. There's a patio outside too with some benches, perfect for beautiful days like today was!
We live a few doors down the road from this location, and often walk over for a treat. Service is always brilliant. We stopped through the drive through this morning after a very emotional vet visit. Thank you for acknowledging me and supporting me in this unique way, I knew you saw my grief when you greeted me, but I didn’t expect anything. Your message has kept me going as I push through work today. Thank you.
ALMOST didn't get a table. This coffee is great, but it's more the atmosphere - great place to work (if you have headphones).
EDIT: because I see it mentioned here, I order a caramel latté every time I come here and it is delicious. Never bland, never unflavored, never under-flavored.
