An unexpected surprise. I go into the wrong lane, as road construction in Ohio is ramped to say the least. Than I could not get over, so I ended up going into another road. In turning around I saw The Rusty Bucket, at this I was WTF I'll stop here. Nice place reminded me a little of J Alexander's but on a smaller scale. The food was good, had the Italian Topedo which was very good. So all in all a good find and the service was as good as the food.
Great local casual stop to take the family. Kid friendly menu, pub food for adults with a mix of other entrees and good beer selection.
When the lights go down in the city. In early July this year when our area was hit hard by thunderstorms, many people were left without power for a week or more. Luckily, our home had power restored within 24 hours. Still, nothing was open nearby, including grocery stores, so we ended up heading to Mansfield, Columbus, and Westerville to dine out.
We had been to this RB once before, and it left a good impression... almost exclusively because I had one of the best waitresses in recent memory, but also because they had a flatscreen showing the NHL playoffs. I had the Elvis Velveeta Burger, and on my recommendation, my girlfriend's father gave it a chance on our last visit. So far, that's four thumbs up!
Consistently Good. I've been to the Bexley location five times or so in the last year, and haven't been disappointed yet. Its always good food, and usually good service. I absolutely love their pulled brisket nachos, they are a heaping mound of everything that is bad for you to eat (at least its real cheese). The Bucket may not overwhelm you with awesomeness, but they have a solid menu with enough options for everyone to find what they are looking for, and its not a bad place to catch a game (even have TVs in the bathroom so you don't miss any of the action).
Love the chili, which makes the Gary's Three-Way my favorite, too. And, Double Nickel salads taste great; throwback to the old 55 Restaurants. I do hold the red onions, though--a bit too potent for my liking. And, has my favorite beers and decent wine.
Best veggie burger. I've tried a lot of veggie burgers around town, but this one is my absolute favorite.
This is one of my favorite fallback resturants when all else fails. It is more than a bar, the wide array of burgers, subs and Italian dishes make the Rusty Bucket a great choice for even the pickiest eaters. The mac-n'-cheese and chicken parmasean are my personal favorite!
Good selection of food and good service. Was a bit busy due to many patrons dining there for a fundraiser, but the staff did well. I'm likely to order the same dish whenever I dine with this chain, but there is a good selection for most people to choose from.
We chose this location based on how many starts it had. We have been to other locations and have had no issues. Chose this because I wanted a burger and sweet potato fries. Sat at the bar. Got in just before the dinner rush was in full swing. I ordered the Blueberry Bella, which is so good! I made my own burger and had sweet potato fries. My husband had the Rueben sandwich with a side of the street corn. Everything tasted great!
I had a Long Island iced tea and it tasted like it contained very little alcohol. I ordered wings as an app and they were very very good…I also had the broccoli cheddar soup and that was a hit!!! I also ordered the cheesesteak and fries! While the fries were very good the cheesesteak was drowned in the queso that I requested and it seemed like a half a sub (very small) overall I’d try this place again but I would not order any subs as I feel they’d all come out half sized!
Salmon was dry & the chicken was chewy, this place is not known for the salads! The meatloaf & fish n chips are excellent tho!
First time back at the Rusty Bucket in many years, and it was great! Services was quick, friendly and many employees visited our table.
The food was good! The fish and chip were excellent! Had to order their nachos, they are half off during happy hour!! Kids food was good, chicken tenders and spaghetti and meat balls!
Looking forward to going back, especially when their patio opens, looks legit!!!
I was there only briefly but my friends stayed and loved it. "Best chicken fingers I've ever had". Indoor and outdoor seating. Casual.
Hosted our company holiday party here! Great service and fantastic food! Already booked for next year :)
Not too crowded at lunch. Nice patio with an overhead roof.
My salmon salad was good and filling tho it lacked tomatoes and pecans. My friend's salmon was undercooked. Another ordered chicken fingers but received fried fish.
The outdoor patio is awesome and although they were busy our host made sure we got and outside table. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is The GOAT! Waitstaff is incredible and the wrap around bar pretty cool. Best place near the Hills to eat. Completely recommend always consistent and good!
Food and service are great! They have a lovely enclosed patio that desperately needs overhead fans. Uncomfortable till the sun goes down.
