On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

This past Saturday, I took my dad out for his birthday. It was definitely a large unexpected party, but we were blessed to have a server named, Marlon. Marlon went above and beyond with providing exceptional service. The food was great, I did not care for the chicken tortilla soup, but the chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce was to die for. What impressed me was the fact that Marlon, recommended it and I was pleased. Definitely need more servers like him!! Unfortunately, pics of food was not taken due to the fact we was too excited to devour.

Haven’t been to OTB in a while, so my boyfriend and I went on Saturday. Food was amazing and hot! I believe I got the Grilled Chicken with Queso + cilantro lime rice + steamed veggies. Definitely recommend! Server was very sweet and brought out plenty of chips/salsa and refilled our drinks. Only issue I ran into was I couldn’t finish my food and I got a To-Go container. The container was kinda flimsy, but as long as it carried my food it’s good (which it did.) However! Quick warning to those who want to put the leftovers in said flimsy container… DO NOT MICROWAVE IT IN THE CONTAINER! My container literally melted all over my leftovers, and I didn’t wanna risk eating melted plastic. Again… DO NOT MICROWAVE THE TO-GO CONTAINER WITH YOUR FOOD! I also want to make it clear that this isn’t quite OTB’s fault, I’m sure they didn’t know, but I at least want to make them aware and everyone else aware too! No harm done to me really, I would recommend the restaurant switching to better (microwaveable) containers though! Still, 5 stars for great food, service and always great atmosphere! Thank you! 😊

My wife and I have always liked this place but haven't been here for a while. The chips and salsa are very good. The entrees were solid also. Our servers were efficient and very nice but they were understaffed so service was a little slow. We've always liked the atmosphere. This is a good solid chain for Mexican food that we recommend.
