Endearing classic home with some seriously tender and juicy bbq. Chicken, sausage, brisket, pulled pork, and ribs are all amazing. Mac n Cheese is seriously creamy, Spicy Brisket Chili is meaty and super filling. Collard Greens is super yummy. Alligator Sweet Whisky Shot (bbq sauce) is where its at!

This place has the best brisket! They are literally the kings of brisket. I'm from Cincinnati and our brisket doesn't taste anything like this! And the whiskey barbeque sauce is delicious! Mac and cheese was so creamy and delicious too! Never tasted anything like that before!

Nicely done and juicy meats located in a charming old house. The staff were pretty helpful with helping us understanding some menu questions. We had the brisket, pulled pork, chicken drummies, and the sausage. I think the brisket was the standout - it had a nice crisp outside with a tender and juicy center. All of the meats were good, though.
I do wish they had some better sauces. There was a sort of yellowish sauce that I enjoyed, but they didn't have any non-sweet sauces.

In town for a conference, my work colleague found Smoked On High online as it was highly recommended and we weren't disappointed.
The Brisket was mouth watering tender, the sausage was fantastic. We'll be returning for another meal before we return to Europe.

The ribs are huge, but was bland to taste. The sause helped with that.
The brisket and pull park sandwich was great still bland, but drowned it in their sauces.
The mac & cheese great flavor, but needs more cheese.
Overall will eat there again.

heard there was a new BBQ place in Cbus so we had to check it out. So glad we did! The brisket and the pork were delicious. Moist and smoked to perfection. They don't put their sauce on it, which I think is fantastic. You have 3 choices of sauce. The sweet whiskey was very tasty. The Victorian home is really cool. I loved the way they incorporated the old with the new in their decor. One of the best parts of our dinner was that I got to drink a Lone Star beer. I've never been able to find it Ohio. Great BBQ and great beer! It's a definite must try if you love BBQ!

Been waiting to try this place. First thing the sides are pretty small compared to other BBQ joints. Mac n cheese was super creamy with tons of cheese. The greens had a tad bitter taste but we're nice and Smokey with a fair amount of meat in them. The main course was brisket on a premium bun. I ended up tossing it aside to get to the brisket alone. The brisket was super moist and totally good smoke. Typically places ladle broth on it, not here. Bun was delicious on it own after soaking up brisket juice. Is it a little pricey compared with other places, yes but will I return? Heck yes. People running the line super friendly and helpful.

Ribs are unreal and the brisket was perfect! The sides are amazing as well and priced so well.
Only okay thing was the corn bread.

Knew it was going to be a good brisket when she took the whole piece out of the warmer and it was soft like a pillow, and it was indeed the most amazing BBQ we had in Columbus. We went to a couple of BBQ places in town when we travelled here and this and Ray Ray's were by far miles ahead from other places.

Takeout. Brisket sandwich with onions was delicious, even without sauce. Sweet whiskey sauce added another dimension and was interesting on its own. Mac and cheese was also great.

This is a phenomenal BBQ joint in the Columbus area. The menu selection isn’t overwhelming which is always a plus for me. Simple and to the point.
The staff was great and the restaurant was clean.
On to the food. I ordered the Brisket sandwich with the macaroni and cornbread. The portions were quite large and I definitely left with a full stomach. The brisket was moist and the sweet bbq sauce was a great addition.
The prices are pretty steep so be prepared to easily spend some cash, especially if you like a beer with your bbq. Overall, solid barbecue.

Although they ran out of ribs by 4:30,this place did not disappoint! The brisket was tender,juicy and busting with flavor! The sides complemented the meat nicely. The guys behind the counter were able to take a ribbing....no pun intended😏 10 out of 10!

One of the best BBQ places in Columbus! They’re ribs are so tender and slip right off the bone. Love their sauces and sides! Great employees who take care of their customers too. Also, if you go in at the right time, they’ll give you great deals (which is how we got ALL these ribs) 😂

This was my first visit. The service staff seemed a little indifferent, but the food was good, and it was a good overall experience. I got a sampler type meal, which had ample amounts. Although they were out of the chicken, they substituted another item. They said their brisket was the most popular item, so I got extra of that.
The pickled onions were the best of what was provided. Really great! The best of the meat offering was the sausage, in my opinion. Followed by the ribs, the pulled pork, and then the brisket. But all of it was good.
I had the collard greens and cole slaw, and both were good. As I said, the pickled onions were fantastic. The pickle slices were really good as well.
The sweet bourbon BBQ sauce was way too smoky, and I didn't care for it. The spicy hot BBQ sauce was good. There was a third option, but I didn't try it.
If you're in the area, and looking for BBQ, this spot is worth a try.

I love to have dinner here with the family. My 3 year old lives the pickles and mac and cheese and well... I do too! The brisket is to DIE for and I have never had chicken so tastey! There are small tables, bar tables, and large family tables but it is very small and cozy. Try their sauces. I love the sweet and spicy and it is JUST that. So perfect.

Stopped in here on the way home from the Indy 500 based on Google reviews and was not disappointed. The juiciest brisket I've ever eaten and the beans were exceptional as well. Would have loved to try the ribs as well but they were out since it was later in the evening. If I'm ever traveling I70 through Columbus I will stop here whether I'm hungry or not!

Delicious food! Smaller eating area inside and options to sit outside. We had pulled chicken and pulled pork. My husband loved the spicy chili and the greens.

My favorite BBQ spot. Brisket is the best I’ve had. You can tell they want to provide high quality sides - they all hit the mark. Max n Cheese and Collared Greens are my favorite. Don’t sleep on the Brisket Chili - it’s so good I’ve had to order it in 90 degree summer heat to get my fix. Great spot to check out if you’re ever in the Capital City.
