The Market Italian Village

Just amazing! Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Our group of 9 did the prefix $35 3-course meal (deviled eggs, elote, peppers, whipped feta, pasta, burgers, jambalaya). The Pana Cotta was very good, and the toffee bread pudding was INSANELY delicious! Tried 4 wines - all were nice. So reasonably priced, nice servers, and awesome bathrooms!

Wow! Great service, good, wine and cocktails! Love the ambience. My wife and I ordered 4 shareable plates - snap peas salad, beef tartar, deviled eggs and strozzapreti pasta. It was the perfect amount of food for 2 people (although our waitress recommended we get 2-3) and incredibly delicious!! To finish up, we got dessert cocktails and they did not disappoint! The bathroom is wild - that’s all I’ll say…

I love everything about The Market Italian Village. I've only ever been here for brunch (it's really good what can I say), but I think you'll understand if you go check it out! The waffle fries served with brie are such an incredible combination it's almost hard to describe. Last time we also tried the monkey bread with foie gras butter, and it was so good. Both dishes are the best mix of salty and sweet. On top of that The Market's coffee drinks make things even better. I will most certainly go again soon, and you should too!

Came to the market for my first time to check out oyster night and was so impressed! Excellent service, terrific vibe and location, and you just absolutely can’t beat $1/oyster. I also LOVED their Bloody Mary oysters & their housemade hotsauce (OG)! Gimlet was perfect, margherita pizza had so much fresh basil, and pleasantly surprised by the recommendation to try a sour rosé (can below). Also bonus — other weekday specials like Wednesday charcuterie (build your own!) nights, and they offer free wifi! Definitely coming back!

There is not a complete list of superlatives to adequately do justice to the overall atmosphere, service and meal involved with this place. This is not your run of the mill “hipster” seemingly progressive food hut. Market has truly captured the beauty of exquisite meal preparation, friendly service and food expertise. Make sure you snag a seat near the back if you are a foodie and enjoy getting a look at what the complete menu offers - you can see everything coming out of the kitchen. Their chefs take their time and put their hearts into these meals. I know more about Jamón Iberico than your average Joe now, thanks to their willingness answer my questions and curiosities about what was displayed in their deli counter. This place makes you want to just keep coming back. Bloody Mary is made perfectly with extra spice available via house made hot sauce. Also available house made mustards, jams, ketchups - any breakfast accoutrement you can imagine. This place is deserving of a solid 5 stars without a single question. This is my favorite Columbus food place. Period.
