The Suisse Shop Bakery

I was out to dinner recently commenting to my dining partner that restaurants really overlook the dessert options and all I wanted was a good chocolate cake. The table next to me interrupted me and told me I needed to get cake at Suisse Bakery. We got cake here for a friends birthday party. They have a variety of pre made cakes available- two sizes: 5 inch and 10 inch, with a variety of cakes and frostings. There are also an assortment of cookies and baked goods to get without a preorder. The cake is incredible! Not to sweet, a good crumb and overall well balanced flavor. 5 stars for sure! I also got a peanut butter cookie with a peanut butter cup on top (no picture sorry) and it was fantastic. This is my new go-to for cake!

I seriously can’t drive by with out stopping in. I live in Plain City so when I am in the area I have to go and get some awesome cupcakes! Their cakes are amazing as well and they have a selection of cookies that are to die for! If your have a special occasion you have to order from here. Or if you have a sweet tooth you have to stop in. Yummy.

OMG!!! I am so happy that I tried The Suisse Shop!! I ordered an Italian Cassata and a German Chocolate for my 10 Year Firm Anniversary Celebration and not only were they pretty, they were DELICIOUS!! The German Chocolate was delish. But, when me and my girls tasted the Italian Cassata, we were all DELIGHTED with that "Oooh, this is GOOOD!" look on our faces!!

Hands down an amazing choice for the cake for my wedding. Working with Krista who handles their wedding cakes was super easy. Everything from the tasting (pickup due to covid) was easy. All the options of cake were out of this world. They also gave popular suggestions on flavors and fillings that go well together. We ended up choosing a 4 tier Yellow cake with raspberry filling and french buttercream on the outside. I had a vision of flowers and ribbons on the cake so I sent along my inspo photos and Krista was able to nail the execution. Delivery was smooth and the cake looked exquisite. Some of my guests were even asking me if it was fake because it looked so beyond perfect. The attention to detail was flawless. Look no further for your wedding/event cake needs!

My husband and I were very pleased with our cake. It looked beautiful and just like the picture I sent. It tasted amazing. We honestly have zero complaints or issues. As far as I know, everything arrived on time as well. My wedding planner took care of everything on the day of our wedding and I don't believe there was ever an issue with the cake. I also think the cake was of great value for us. Our budget was around $500 for a cake and that's right about what we paid. We had gotten quotes from other bakers for the same cake that came in way higher than what we were willing to pay. I also liked the option of paying in cash to get a free stand rental and the anniversary cake. So, overall we were very happy with everything!

We'd been using the Suisse Shop for special occasion cakes for years now and thought it was a complete no brainer to use them for our most special occasion. They offered tastings of several different flavors of both cake and filling and coached us through the entire process to ensure we were incredibly happy. Additionally, they offered dozens of examples of prior cakes to give us a good idea of what we were looking for. The Suisse Shop also offered creative ways to allow us to save money while also having a beautiful cake to share with our guests. It was both beautiful and the reviews were out of the park about the quality. Will definitely continue to use them for special occasions.

We got our wedding cake from The Suisse Shop. We received so many compliments about how delicious our cake was all night! When deciding which bakery to book, we did tastings with a few different places. The Suisse Shop was first and set the bar so high that nothing else compared. I also felt the price was extremely reasonable and Krista was so easy to work with. I’m so thankful The Suisse Shop was available to be a part of our wedding day!

Call me a little obsessed but our cake from The Suisse Shop was perfection. After doing a few tastings (during the pandemic) we were really underwhelmed by some other cake places in Cbus. Some of the tastings that we took home from other places were not even fresh. The we decided to try the Suisse Shop because they have my all time favorite butter cream sugar cookies. It was the best tasting experience we had. It was super easy to order the cake and it arrived on time the day of our wedding. When I saw it my heart leaped. It was everything and more. I just knew the day was going to be fantastic. Even better, it ended up being super reasonable on cost too. Thanks, Krista!!!
