Excellent family owned traditional style pizza diner with excellent service amazing pizza. We'd heard so many good things about the place for a long time and finally went to see for ourselves. It definitely won't be the last time we go! The thin crust is nice and crispy and the sauce is amazing. They're the only pizza place I've ever seen to offer pickles. We tried it and had one of those "wow" moments. It's good! They also offer spaghetti sandwiches and salads. Our server was a third generation family member (granddaughter of the founder) and she was really friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions as it was our first time there. You have to put this place on your list if you've never been. It's not a fancy place, but if you want some really good pizza (my new favorite!) and great service, stop in sometime. You won't be sorry.
A family favorite for many years. It's always good and always consistent, which is the key to success. They have the thinest crust you will find and ts so good.. they make the sausage and slice it it's not crumbled it's the best! It's best to djne in and have it fresh out of the oven. Getting any pizza to go changes the quality so I highly recommend dining in. Our favorite!
Update: we decided eat at the place on friday and man it was crazy busy. The definitely could use at least 2 more people, one server and someone else to take phone orders. We were there for over 2 hrs from waiting for a table to finishing and that phone did not stop ringing. Great to see they are pumping out that kinda business. The waitress was then only one with like 11 tables. She was doing the best she could though. Everything was good!
This is an old school pizza joint serving up classic style pizza. They have a really thin crispy crust, so if thats your style, this is the place for you. They have a really nice balance of cheese and sauce, so that you can actually taste the sauce. All the ingredients are freshly sliced and not canned. They do use the sliced sausage, which i find weird. They don't have a ton of options for toppings which is another bummer, however they should have enough for most people. You guys should add a double crust to showcase your dough, I'd be interested in that!
Thanks guys.
The food was great. We sampled a bit of everything and weren't disappointed.
A couple of odd points though. They do not have ice water. It's bottled water or canned soda. Nothing else.
Additionally, it's cash only. I get that credit card fees eat profits, but a slight raise in price would offset that.
Still, it was a great experience. If we were local, we'd eat here again.
Go get a large pie. As someone from the East Coast, I stand by the opinion that this pizza is better than a New York slice. Crispy pepperonis, balanced cheese, and a thin crust are well done at this classic pizza spot.
Great local mom and pop style pizza joint. Very reasonable and inexpensive prices. A large pepperoni pizza and two large salads were $25. Very thin crust pizza but crisp enough to hold toppings. Good flavor with a little spice in the pepperonis.
They do not do online orders and only take cash.
Ample dining room space and very clean. Plenty of friendly workers to keep the line moving. My daughter enjoyed watching them make the pizzas and playing the Ms. Pac-Man arcade game.
Tonight was our first time trying Rubino’s and it’s an instant classic! Delicious Columbus style pizza with a thin cracker crust! There was no need for the classic paper bag because our family finished the entire thing while there!
Had the best Italian food in a long time. Being from New York it is hard to find Italian food that is not Spanish style. It was better than Olive Garden. Rubinos pizza was genuinely NY style. Fully recommend 👌 👏 👍. Will be my new hang out.
This place is a family run shop, open for dinner only. The pizza is unbelievable 🤤 I'm a thin crust aficionado & this is HEAVEN 🍕 Thin crunchy yet pliable crust with just the right amount of a delicious more sweet tomato sauce. Veggies are fresh. Pepperoni is YUM 🤤 They go back at least 70 years or longer. Cash or check, no credit/debit cards. Atmosphere is so subtly reminiscent of the 50s, the people waiting & serving are fantastic people persons! Go there if you've never been. Unless you rebel totally against thin crust you'll love it, PLUS if you're not into pizza they have pastas, salads, etc. GO 👉
Thin and very delicious pizza. It reminded me of a slice when I visited Italy a few years ago. The large pizza with extra cheese was so good I ate the whole pie. You may dine in on certain days to enjoy your pizza of choice. Convenient parking. Nice and friendly service both in person and ordering for pick up. Very decent price. Cash only.
Excellent thin, crispy crust. Delicious sauce and cheese not too thick. Good selection of toppings (including anchovies). Good prices. Sausage was thin slices rather than ground meat style, and tasty. I would choose this pizza before any others, mainly for this type of crisp thin crust, which is hard to find.
Old skool pizza. Good pizza, place is a throw back to the 60s and 70s. Go in with low expectations and then enjoy the food and experience. It really is good pizza.
