The Olive Tree was a featured (and favorite of mine) guest restaurant in my company cafeteria years ago. I was very excited to see that they were still open, and ventured to Hilliard for dinner. I was pleasantly greeted, but discovered that the owner was on her own at the moment, due to some staff call-offs, and was waiting on additional help to arrive. Instead of asking me to come back another time, she opened the doors and said she'd take care of me. I started with a glass of red wine and The Olive Tree-O and chose Hummus, Tzatziki and Baba Ghanouj. They were delicious, cold and paired with ample pita slices. I had to stop myself from devouring it all, to save room for my Spicy Chicken and Mushrooms entree. Which was equally enjoyable! I appreciated the fresh, bold and distinct
Mediterranean/Lebanese flavors. But most importantly, the service. I will certainly be back again.
I’ve been going here for years! Love this place! Recently I came in and there was a dish I’d not seen before. Lebanese Steak tartar! I’ve had versions of steak and tuna tar tar before. But not this kind! It was so delicious!!! I would highly recommend trying this dish! And all their other food is great too! See my amateur pictures of the dish!
A really good place for some delicious Mediterranean food although being short staffed it takes a while so you have to be patient for the great food
Two of us went last night and had a good dinner! We both had gyros,& were very happy with them. Good size and taste! We had spanakopita for an appetizer & were very pleased with the taste & presentation.
Our waitress was pleasant & helpful. She took time to explain items & was quick, too.
The dining room is nice, but kinda drowned out by the kitchen lights. Kinda depends on where you sit, but if the dining room was blocked off more from the kitchen, it would be nicer. Overall all though, the experience was nice & we'll definitely be back.
Food is very fresh. Good wine and deserts. Friendly service.

I met a girlfriend at The Olive Tree for dinner tonight. We could tell they are short staffed and hustling to keep up - the food was worth the wait! Our server was really sweet and took good care of us. The fire fries were so so good! I definitely recommend showing this restaurant support and dine-in or carry out!
My son and I went here for our birthdays.
The food was delicious! I truly enjoyed my food. I had the lentil soup and the side salad 🥗 very good. My son had the Chicken schwarma. His portion size was great.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The owner was very accommodating, I showed up probably 15-20 minutes before closing time... I was from out of state and looking for some good food! I drove a half an hour from my hotel to this restaurant and was not disappointed in the food that I had! Thank you for going out of your way that night and for making my evening a great one!
The staff was super friendly and the food was incredible. Next time I’m in the Columbus area I will 100% be coming back. If you love authentic Mediterranean food this is definitely the spot to go! The falafel is nice and moist and the tabouli is incredibly fresh. The pistachio baklava is a must have! Five stars!
Shawarma and hummus was Absolutely delicious! We were visiting Columbus from Maryland and after almost 6 hours of driving we arrived at this wonderful restaurant and tried almost the entire menu …chicken Shawarma; spicy chicken with mushrooms; Lamb, chicken, and kafta shish kabob; fried calamari, the fire fries, and the cold appetizers Hummus, Tzatziki, Baba Ghanouj, Matbucha, Machmusa…even the salad tasted delicious 🤤 this was one of the best if not the best Mediterranean cuisine I have ever tasted…almost forgot the side of gyro pita was to die to for…anyways next time you are in Columbus you know where to go… BTW the service was excellent…the owner Ms. Lara was a great host
