Amazing German Experience! Beers are made in house and you can get your own steins to keep on premise of wanting to. Nice menu with a wide variety of items to select from! We had the bourbon glazed Salmon with Mashed Potatoes & vegetable medley. Our guest had other dishes. Dinner came to us within 15 min or less! Our server was helpful recommending items. Unique upstairs party area as well. Stop by the gift shop!
Excellent slice of Germany here in Columbus. It was not the best cut of meat, but it was prepared well and was delicious. Also, they added bier cheese to the spaetzle, which was pretty unique. All in all, a memorable experience. Also, you have to try a cream puff!
German food in Columbus ... the food was tasty with very tender beef tips ... loved the fried cabbage ... sat at the bar in the big Germam Beer Hall ... I bet this place is super fun with a big group of friends!
The food was great and our waitress was awesome. There was live music that started at 5:30 PM and it was good. Overall definitely a great place if you're in the area and wanna have some fun and good food.
Pretzel was a tad bit over salted, but definitely fresh. Burger was juicy and flavorful. Beer: fresh off the tap, 5/5. Service was fast and friendly. Would come back.
Came here for lunch with my dad and we absolutely loved it! We had Dominic for our server and he was friendly and attentive. Food was really good and it wasn’t too busy, but even if it was the place is very spacious. We will definitely come again!
If you hate German food don't go, but if you are even KIND of curious, or just like beer...and you're in Columbus, you must get here. German Potato Salad might be my new comfort food...
Fair warning... beware the liter size beer. It doesn't SOUND like as much as it is, but it is...oh man it is.
This place is always pretty solid. We only came for lunch so there wasnt many people. I had the pork shank and the bratwurst chili. I really enjoyed the chili. We also had the sampler appetizer and i really enjoyed the potato pancakes. Service was awesome. I was first of my party so the waitress sat with me and we chatted about the menu and what is the best food and what not.
We came with a wedding party of about 15 including 2 kids on a Thursday evening and were well taken care of by the prompt and patient staff!
Schnitzel sandwich was delicious and just the right amount. Same for the jaegerschnitzel. The spatzel was a tasty side and the German beers were, well, German!
Great biergarten and festive food hall good for groups.
Great, unique bar. Consistently good service, lively environment, never had anything off the menu that wasn't delicious. None of the beers are mind-blowing but they're a nice change of pace from the IPA obsession sweeping the country. The environment can vary so it's a little hard to know what to expect when you show up but it's worth a visit if you enjoy the beer hall/garden atmosphere.
