One of the best resturants I've eaten at in a long time. The staff was excellent, the food was divine and the cocktails were perfect. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area

First time in Columbus and wanted to check out the city. Stumbled across this restaurant and so glad we did. Very kind and polite staff and the outside patio was very comfortable and had a nice atmosphere about it. Our waiter suggested entrees and deserts and he didn’t steer us wrong. Rack of Lamb was perfectly prepared and the deserts were amazing. Highly recommend and if I’m ever back in town, I’ll be sure to stop in. Thanks for the nice evening!!!

The food is outstanding-came out for our first get-together after we had all had our "shots", and couldn't have picked a more memorable place! Our server, Carl, was so personable and gave us excellent recommendations and came over frequently to intro himself and greet the party members as they arrived. He remembered everyone's name and was so attentive! We all tried different dishes and sampled each other's; all were exquisite! There is an extensive wine menu and the cocktail selection was interesting-the lemon martini!!!. Will be back again soon, thank you for the wonderful experience!!

We have slowly gotten around to uncovering all of the Central Ohio eats, and stumbled upon my new favorite here recently. First off, this is a place where classic food service and atmosphere still thrive. Our server (Carl) years in the business, so attentive and sincere, made perfect eye contact; he was exceptional. The food was just so good, every single thing was perfectly cooked, one of the more memorable Columbus meals I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, I don’t have much else to say except everything was perfect through and through.

Absolutely exquisite! The Mallard Duck Breast that my girlfriend and I had was astonishing, amazing, well put together in flavor. Every piece of food complimented each other so very well. The reduction sauce was mouth watering! The banana bruleed pudding will light your taste buds up in all the best ways! Great food from some of the best people I have had the pleasure to meet/have in my life. If you are looking for a good food made fresh from scratch in house, this is the place!!!! Highly Highly Recommend!!!❤

The service is all around fantastic and the staff is super attentive. The food is very well done and each dish has a unique twist. Street parking can be a hassle, but they offer reasonable valet parking. Happy to see a business like this stay alive in such uncertain times. Thank you for a great meal and first visit!

My wife and I had an anniversary dinner at G. Michael's this past Saturday. Overall, we had a great experience and would return again. Service was particularly great, we were seated quickly (with reservation) and our server (who has been there 20 years) found that perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. He also was very knowledgeable about the menu (which was brand new) and was able to guide us to selections we enjoyed. We ordered two small plates (appetizers), two main dishes, and a shared dessert. One of the small plates was a new item, spring roll with octopus, and while we thought it was tasty we also didn't find much octopus in it. Perhaps this was just luck of the draw with the filling. The other small dish was the fried goat cheese, and we definitely enjoyed that. The two main dishes (trout and bison) were both cooked very skillfully as both can suffer if overcooked and they weren't. However my wife wasn't as pleased with the side to the trout, where I really enjoyed the side to the bison dish. Unfortunately they were out of our first choice of dessert (fruit cobbler) so we went with our second choice (lemon gingersnap tart) and really enjoyed that. Ambiance was good. It got a bit louder at the peak hour, but we didn't find it a problem. We would definitely go again to this fine restaurant.

Visited for my girlfriend's birthday. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had. Our server was excellent. Stopped by exactly when we needed him and was very friendly. The food was just as good. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly and the goat cheese mashed potatoes had a wonderful taste. The lemon tart dessert was one of my all time favorites. Light, but delicious. On the way out, every employee we walked by said goodbye which was nice.

Wonderful anytime of year but the Restaurant Week menu was amazing. The duck burgoo was spicy and satisfying. The trout was perfectly cooked and the lemon gingersnap was the perfect ending. And John at the bar makes some of the best cocktails. The Cardi Bees Knees, so good.

First time here and was very impressed. From the welcoming and professional staff in the front of the house to the well prepared dishes that came out of the kitchen. We had the veal osso buco and sauteed scallops with grits. Both were fantastic and cooked perfectly. Was a bit loud in the dining room for a romantic dinner but overall it was a good experience and we will be back.
